flomoe Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 The ignorance of some people, that believe everything that the "main stream media" spews is gospel, is unbelievable. Just because the New York Times or Washington Post print something that says Trump is a racist, doesn't mean it's true. I would hope that these "educated" athletes, understand and research the truth about the candidates. The fact that Rex openly supported Trump shouldn't affect one person involved with the team in any capacity whatsoever. He is an American with the right and freedom to support whoever he wants, just like players have their right and freedom to stand or sit for the National Anthem. It should not affect what happens on the field and anybody with half a brain should understand that. The freedom for individuals to have their own thoughts without persecution is what makes this country great.
Billschinatown Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 I don't think Rex thinks of politics in a nuance way. Rex supporting Trump is probably more of a byproduct of his admiration that Trump has no filter similar to himself. Keep in mind it was Trump who insulted the Pegula's after he lost his bid for the team. Rex supporting Trump probably irked Pegula, but it's not like he was going to muzzle Rex's free speech. Similarly if Kaepernick was on the Bills Pegula wouldn't stop him from protesting. Rex is smarter than Trump. You can hear it in the way that they speak. Namely Rex is coherent and has tact if he chooses to use it; but I agree Trump probably has a style Rex likes. Also it should be noted...Rex regularly accepts/acknowledges losing, as we know . Trump on the other hand can't hand psychological ramifications of admitting he was wrong or lost at something.
Boatdrinks Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 Hes a Mexican, Trump told CNN of Curiel. Were building a wall between here and Mexico. The answer is, he is giving us very unfair rulings rulings that people cant even believe. Curiel, it should be noted, is an American citizen who was born in Indiana. I dunno....that's pretty close to the definition of being racist; saying an American is unable to make judicial decisions properly because of their race. That's not what he was saying. He was saying he felt the individual was incapable of putting aside some comments that Trump made about illegal immigrants from Mexico ( Not ALL Mexicans) when giving rulings on his cases. He basically was saying the Judge was racist in response to his opinions on immigration that were being spun as racist. Trump wasn't saying the Judge couldn't make decisions properly because of his race , but because he felt the judge was being racist against him.

Free speech is an American right. Freedom from consequences of free speech is not. Ask Colin. Sometimes I think people forget that. If they don't like him because of his political leanings, fine. But they still better play hard for that $$$. It appears that they are. He did the trump thing a while ago, I doubt they unravel now. They all showed up on their day off Monday. Rockinon Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 I see the Democrats(or should I say socialists) are out in full force.
DrDawkinstein Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 Move this thread to the cesspool it deserves, already.

Are we going to do a thing where I keep giving you examples and you keep telling me I'm wrong? Lets just skip that and beat the LA rams next week. Go Bills.
Oregonbillsfan Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 A final response to the "Tell me why Trump is racist".
Billschinatown Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 I see the Democrats(or should I say socialists) are out in full force. I agree. People who don't agree with my political leanings are literal scumbag communists. Glad someone had the guts to say it dude.
Gene Frenkle Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 Perhaps the "non-socialists" should consider putting up a viable, electable candidate. Just a thought. 'Merica
Oregonbillsfan Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 Well at least we all agree that we should beat the +)_(&_+)%$@!% out of L.A.

Oregonbillsfan Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 I don't care who Rex supports or votes for, but to do it in such a public way was way dumb.
GunnerBill Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 I see the Democrats(or should I say socialists) are out in full force. The idea that anyone in mainstream American politics is actually a socialist is laughable. You lot wouldn't know how to deal with a real socialist. Bernie was as close as you have got for years and look at the media reaction to him.
thebandit27 Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 I don't care who Rex supports or votes for, but to do it in such a public way was way dumb. Why?
Oregonbillsfan Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 ricojes A Mexican American voting for The Donald is like a chicken voting for The Colonel.
jr1 Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 it would be funny if guys fought over Evan McMullin
Oregonbillsfan Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 We have a 40 hr work week because some of our grandfathers got their heads bashed in on picket lines, but they were socialists so who cares.
thebandit27 Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 ricojes A Mexican American voting for The Donald is like a chicken voting for The Colonel. That is funny, but unfortunately it's untrue IMO--if they're here legally, then he can't do anything to them.
GunnerBill Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 We have a 40 hr work week because some of our grandfathers got their heads bashed in on picket lines, but they were socialists so who cares. That fact you think a 40hr working week is good tells you most of what you need to know.
