dulles Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 I never said it wasn't' serious. It is, and it's very very stupid. But I doubt he was being "a dick" (your words). He just screwed up, big time. Being "a dick", typically involves intent, IMO. The expectation for gun owners is that they will NEVER screw up. If you do screw up, you are being "a dick" as Freddie's Dead put it.
White Linen Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 After he failed a drug test when getting the opportunity to be our starting LB - I thought he can't be all that bright.
Doc Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 Sounds like an honest mistake. But likely looking at a suspension next year.
BuffaloMatt Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 (edited) You forget to pack a toothbrush. You don't forget to unpack a gun. Edited October 5, 2016 by BuffaloMatt
26CornerBlitz Posted October 5, 2016 Author Posted October 5, 2016 This is from the umbrella incident earlier this year. @TMZ Eagles' Nigel Bradham -- Charged with Felony Battery ... Allegedly Socked Hotel Worker https://t.co/fgl9x8OS98
Freddie's Dead Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 Wait, you can take a gun through security screening in your carry-on luggage if you put it in a locked TSA approved case (to which I presume, you have the key or the combination?) No, it has to be checked and put in the cargo hold. The only gun on the plane is the air marshal.
Nanker Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 I had a pair of scissors confiscated from my travel bag by Australian Security at the Sidney airport. Wifey had put her cuticle scissors in my bag at the hotel. They were about 4" long in total length. Looked very dangerous. : I'm so glad they kept the rest of the passengers and crew on the flight safe from my maniacal plan.
bigK14094 Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 Zach Brown is making people forget that Reggie Ragland is on the Bills. What a wealth of riches when he returns. He will likely have a new contract who knows where when Raglund returns....unfortunately.
Marv's Neighbor Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 Having a loaded gun is one thing BUT taking it to an Airport is just SFB stupid!
sherpa Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 No, it has to be checked and put in the cargo hold. The only gun on the plane is the air marshal. Not quite true. A passenger has to check it and it is placed in the cargo compartment. That much is true. There are lots of folks besides air marshals who carry on airplanes, including pilots. law enforcement officials among others.

They'd cleared screening dozens of times, then they got confiscated in BUF. Not quite true. A passenger has to check it and it is placed in the cargo compartment. That much is true. Hapless Bills Fan Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 No, it has to be checked and put in the cargo hold. The only gun on the plane is the air marshal. Whew, I feel much better now.
Augie Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 On the bright side, they seem unafraid of corkscrews! Cheers!
DirtDart Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 (edited) It happens, I forgot to take ammo out of my bag before. Not quite true. A passenger has to check it and it is placed in the cargo compartment. That much is true. There are lots of folks besides air marshals who carry on airplanes, including pilots. law enforcement officials among others. Federal Agents do not have to check their weapons. State must. I was in Beijing, was able to bring toothpaste in. Out, not so much. Edited October 6, 2016 by DirtDart
26CornerBlitz Posted October 6, 2016 Author Posted October 6, 2016 @LesBowen Schwartz: you do dumbass things, pretty soon you're going to be labeled a dumbass. Bradham has "ground to make up."
Mr. WEO Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 Zach Brown is making people forget that Reggie Ragland is on the Bills. What a wealth of riches when he returns. To be fair, it's easy for people to forget a guy who has never played for a team...
boyst Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 No, it has to be checked and put in the cargo hold. The only gun on the plane is the air marshal.or FBI, CIA or other federal agent. Or officer who has permit to carry on a plane. Or private citizen who has permit allowing to carry on plane.A lot more than you think carry on a plane. My former sister in law does.
