Running your best players out of town is a horrible way to do business.

You would have been more upset if he broke his shoulder again and we had to start some rookie.

Receivers duck, QBs slide and corners have to protect themselves too. He's no good to us hurt.

Every line here in this gem is pure gold!

yes you always see those corners burying the big runningbacks

What kind of logic is this? Corners are just supposed to step out of the way of running backs and let them roam? It's football and as a football player, you put your body in there and at least slow down his progress so teammates can come help make the tackle.

Yes, but when the ball carrier is clearly headed out of bounds you let him go. Maybe give him a shove. Not worth risking an injury on that play, IMO.

He's soft. I really don't like the player and wouldn't pay him long-term. Too inconsistent in coverage and hates tackling. Don't want players like that on my roster. Franchise and trade him.

He's the only one that had zero problem tackling Bennett...

Thanks For the breakdown coach.

Why the sarcasm? Are you the only one entitled to an opinion? That's why we visit this site to express opinions and thoughts?

This isn't a democracy...around here. More of an oligarchy led by the destitute and the criminally insane.

I seem to recall that Deion Sanders wasn't a great tackler, either. How many of us would have loved to have him on our roster?

Deion did so much else so well, you could live with the lack of physical play. He could shadow a top WR and not be out of position like SG often is. He also always made plays on the ball , made interceptions instead of dropping them, and was a real threat to take one to the house from anywhere on the field. SG is a good, not great CB. Deion was a great player.

I bet Antoine Winfield wouldn't have flinched at tackling Blount. Gilmore is losing money every week

I'll bet you on that. Dude is going to get mega bucks. You are crazy if NFL GMs are putting more stock into him whiffing on a tackle of a 260 lbs rb than shitting down receivers like Fitz, Floyd, Edelman, etc. in a passing league.

Gilmore is going to be a very rich man.
