Buffalo Barbarian Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 2016 just wasn't his year. He will light it up next year since he has Kelvin Benjamin rearing to go after warming up this season only one good yr and then he pusses out in the SB
Maury Ballstein Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 In 2017 Cams gonna be all OL reinforcements will be added.
prissythecat Posted January 2, 2017 Author Posted January 2, 2017 In 2017 Cams gonna be all OL reinforcements will be added. Nah. Cam's 2015 campaign was an outlier. We are seeing regression to the mean in action.
LB3 Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000794249/article/cam-newton-to-have-surgery-on-throwing-shoulder It turns out Cam Newton will undergo surgery after all. The Carolina Panthers quarterback will have surgery on March 30 to repair a partially torn rotator cuff suffered against the San Diego Chargers in Week 14, Max Henson of the team's official website reported Tuesday. Newton is expected to be ready for the start of training camp.

LB3 Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 So if Cam has another mediocre season in 2017, we can blame his throwing shoulder surgery ? I was just surprised that I hadn't heard about it here yet. I get most of my NFL news here.

stuvian Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 Carolina is going to play Seattle this weekend. Any predictions on the result? Any new excuses we can use for Cam 1) This is not Cam's year 2) The Panthers should have paid Norman 3) Running game is not helping 4) Receivers are not helping by dropping or fumbling 5) Carolina has been playing all time great defenses this is a lame thread. You must a be Tide loyalist. The Panthers have been a playoff team since getting Newton. I guess he screamed bust when he broke Payton Manning's rookie passing records

HOUSE Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 (edited) Sucking for Luck was a mistake Edited March 24, 2017 by THE SLAMMER
Maury Ballstein Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 Sucking for Luck was a mistake Yea 3 playoff appearances and 3 11-5 seasons is terrible.
Elite Poster Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 Cam Newton isn't elite. But he's a franchise QB. Period. This thread is ludicrous - to even suggest tyrod is better is about as dumb as saying Alex Smith is better then Phil Rivers. There's a difference in who is more consistent vs who is better.
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 🍿 Cam is bad for a great season followed by a bad and Luck is still great for having a good season what 3 seasons ago? Both suffered from bad defenses and. It enough weapons on O. Now why does that argument sound so familiar.....
CuddyDark Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 Another poster likes to keep railing against his favorite overrated QB Andrew Luck on another thread so I will start a thread for another overhyped QB in the Nfl. Please put your excuses for Cam Newton leading the Panthers to an awesome 1-3 record on this thread. In the entire history of the NFL probably 35 to 40 QB's have made the super bowl. Why does he need an excuse for anything?
