Andre Reed to appear today Sunday 10/2 in Herndon, VA

Was contacted by his agent and arranged for him to appear at Annual Tailgate.

Found out Thomas Smith, CB from 1993-1999 will be there as well.

sounds fun...i have only been there for one game...was very memorable as it was Trent's last game as Bill..the week 2 loss to the Packers so many moons ago!.

 

But great time, very cool bar...this event sounds awesome...have a great time

 

I am guessing the Sabre game day after Thanksgiving was not doable for the group...

 

I did not know he does a Friday Fish...is it good? And does he do it for lunch?

Guess they'll make all their money on the "adult drinks", because that $25 all you can eat deal sure doesn't look like a moneymaker to me! LOL In fact, looks like a hell of a deal....wish I lived nearby so I could partake! Sadly though, I am actually at work today with no way to watch the game. :-(

The way it is setup there is an outdoor party in the "alley" as well as inside usual places at bar except long tables to fit more people.

The buffet as well as tables with raffle items, items and books are outside. Autograph tables are there as well.

Weather was great today and I am wondering if we broke some rules from fire department on numbers.

 

Not only were Andre, Thomas Smith and Norwood there Andre brought some friends and a number of them were ex-Bills players. The bunch of them were outside at autograph booth smoking cigars and having a good time today. You would enjoy Andre's rants on the Cheaters. I could not stick around long by them for I am having some severe health issues and the cigar smoke aggravates my coughing.

 

 

There were also two book authors and I got one book for myself with proceeds going to Andre's and other charities. Evidently R. Rich is friend with author.

Andre is coming to our LA tailgate party next week, along with James Lofton and Butch Byrd and Marcellus Wiley and a bunch of others.

Sounds very cool. Andre had no idea that I was one who arranged for him to be at our tailgate. From comments I heard his crew were not leaving until Tuesday and are going to be at Jimmy's at least part of Monday.
