Fadingpain Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 I think h got him confused with Salas Sal C. on WGR offered the same hypothesis yesterday.
Mr Info Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 i also saw the scroll saying Clay was out...but it was very early this morning It was early & Salas shares two letters in his name with Clay so maybe that explains it.
BfloBillsFan Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 (edited) Even with Sammy out, Clay probably would only get 2-3 targets in this offense.... Edited October 1, 2016 by BfloBillsFan
Peter Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 Is this another example of the media presenting its own speculation (or opinion) as something more?!?
Johnny Hammersticks Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 Sal Capaccio tweeted that he saw Clay after practice, with a helmet on, catching passes from the jugs machine.
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 Maybe he was just confused and meant he'll be left out of the game plan.... Again
FLFan Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 Sal C. on WGR offered the same hypothesis yesterday. Clayton is often confused, and rarely right about anything.
MAJBobby Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 Only way Clayton would know he is already out is IF Clay didnt fly with the team. Seeing no one else said anything me thinks Clayton is wrong about Clay
Not at the table Karlos Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 Sal Capaccio tweeted that he saw Clay after practice, with a helmet on, catching passes from the jugs machine. the only thing that can get him the ball.
Billschinatown Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 Told you. You told us that he would falsely reported out?
Nighttime in Nigeria Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 the only thing that can get him the ball. 8/10. Would read again.
Peter Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 (edited) The more I listen to John Clayton on Schopp and the Bulldog, the more I realize that WGR may as well save some money and have any guy from this board or any football related board that has no (or little) inside information call in instead of Clayton. It would be just as informative. Edited October 1, 2016 by Peter
What a Tuel Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 Nothing about Clay not playing. Bills OC Anthony Lynn said the team wants to get Charles Clay more involved. "We had targets to Charles Clay last week. We missed him on one. One time the protection didn’t hold up," said Lynn. "We do have Charles in mind and we know that he’s a playmaker so we’re trying to get him the football." Buffalo has no choice but to increase Clay's role with Greg Salas sidelined and Sammy Watkins on I.R. He's still not a recommended streaming option for Week 4. Oct 1 - 10:58 AM
Sandy McFiddish Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 Can Reggie Bush take the field with Shady and split out and go in motion a bunch to add to the passing game? I thought this would be part of a plan when Reggie came in.
dulles Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 Even with Sammy out, Clay probably would only get 2-3 targets in this offense.... That might be a little high. If TT is only going to throw 10 times, two will be into the bench to avoid a sack. One will be deep to Goodwin. Three will be screens to McCoy which will be quickly swarmed by NE. Two more will stop the clock in between runs during the two minute drill. That only leaves two more targets between Woods, Clay, and whoever else is out there. One of those will go toward Woods, but he'll fall coming out of the break (pick-six). The other will be a goal line shovel pass to Felton to end the first half (as in, Felton will fail to get North/South and time will run out).
What a Tuel Posted October 2, 2016 Posted October 2, 2016 Can we change this topic title to rumor or something? This is completely unfounded and misleading so far.
purple haze Posted October 2, 2016 Posted October 2, 2016 The more I listen to John Clayton on Schopp and the Bulldog, the more I realize that WGR may as well save some money and have any guy from this board or any football related board that has no (or little) inside information call in instead of Clayton. It would be just as informative. Clayton is fairly terrible. They should spend the money on having Louis Riddick on. He's much more insightful. And he will challenge the hosts.
metzelaars_lives Posted October 2, 2016 Posted October 2, 2016 I just saw Clay out on ESPN scroller too.
