filthymcnasty08 Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 Get well soon Sammy... "Doug W - Pegula on line 1…says it's urgent." #cursedfranchise
BillsFan130 Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 Could be a long day at New England. Belichick will for sure make Tyrod beat them with his arm, so Woods and Goodwin better come up huge if the bills have any shot
CommonCents Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 chances are they don't fly in until Saturday night before the game. At that point the Pats would have a night and a morning to plan for that. Now they have a full day to prepare for us not having him. It's a full day to devise a game plan to attack our offense knowing what we have and don't have. Meanwhile, we still don't know of Gorropolo, Brissett, or Edleman will be their QB. There's no way to swing this argument. It's dumb on our part to give up this info so willingly, so early. I'm not one to blindly defend the organization, I did however read something yesterday on Sporting News in which Rodak said Sammy was out and Rex was saying he was hopeful Sammy would travel with the team. https://mobile.twitter.com/mikerodak/status/781553741753221121 Again not sure if they are traveling today or tomorrow...read into it what you want, the WR spot should have been addressed when the surgery was taking place. Playing around with the injury status column in hindsight....blah what a freaking mess.
Guest K-GunJimKelly12 Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 7 games in 4 years is nothing. So basically... he is Kyle Williams in the beginning of his career. Let's stop calling him a bust! Anyone regret keeping Kyle Williams? Try 2 seasons and 3 games, but you don't have an agenda right? Plus he often when he has been in there, has not been 100%. Now Rex is worried about his availability for the rest of the season. He is definitely injury prone. All that matters though is the impact he has on the team and injuries or not, the impact has not been there enough to even come close to justify that trade. Right now that trade is a disaster.
zow2 Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 NO Sammy or Salas. This has to be the weakest WR corp in the league this weekend. NE won't let McCoy go off like he did at home last week.
GG Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 They do look silly signing Reggie Bush instead of Anquan

The WR position needed to be addressed even when we thought Sammy would be healthy. Now we're in dire straights. Just imagine if someone gets hurt this week. We'll be down to nothing at the position. Thanks Doug Whaley.
billsfanmiami(oh) Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 How many? Oh I don't know maybe just something like the first half of last season?
BUFFALOTONE Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 Did he drop a bag of cotton balls on it this time? Truly amazing this guy can't get on the field. Unbelievable talent....that doesn't do us any good from the locker room.
TakeYouToTasker Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 This guy is my least favorite Bill in years. Freaking useless. The guy should play in a dress.
Estelle Getty Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 Here is a difficult concept for the Bills to grasp. No Salas or Watkins sooo...put watkins on one of the IR where he can come back late in the season, hopefully fully healed. Then sign Boykin or Little, two guys who know the offense and easily coulda made the team to fill in. Or wait for Goodwin to get hurt and be down to woods, tate, and powell.
Fadingpain Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 Everyone relax! Sammy feels great and his foot is somewhere between 95% and 100%. He said so himself.

Thanks Doug Whaley.Plenty of big named highly regarded WR's and athletes have struggled with this injury and returning from it. Julio, Edelman, Dez....those are 3 of the hardest working WR's and it took multiple surgeries to get them right. No one in OBD should have felt comfortable enough with Sammy returning to form and having no complications while doing so. It's going to take time... mentally, physically etc. It's not a curse or bad luck...it is a clueless organization whose recent history suggest they think they are smarter than everyone else. Shaq's fine. Sammy's fine. All is well. Edited September 30, 2016 by Commonsense

Gugny Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 HORRIBLE draft pick... your no good if you can play. END of story... #1 receiver....never gonna happen, he will never stay healthy enough. Haven't looked it up but I'd be willing to bet he has missed more games than Andre Reed all ready This says it's been edited. I'm trying to figure out where.
