John from Riverside Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 I was optimistic about Zach Brown. Zach Brown was a better prospect than Preston Brown and Reggie Ragland coming into the league so it was a good risk. That said.......ILB was deep all thru free agency.....it's a passing league so when Brown and Brown have a great game it doesn't mean the D won't give up 400 yards passing. I thought signing Zach Brown would take Ragnuts off the reach list at least......but alas, it did not. Im willing to wait to see...... and I still want to keep Zach
somnus00 Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 I'll be honest, I thought Su'a Cravens was too slow to play in the secondary. I wasn't impressed with his game speed and I thought he would be a bust as a high draft pick. I'm looking like an ass right now.
LeGOATski Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 I loved Cravens and Ragland as potential picks for the Bills. Ragland will be even better than Zach Brown. I know PFF rates Brown well in run support, but from what I've seen, he's been a liability. Ragland is much better at shedding blocks and cutting through traffic. Can't wait to see him play. Its a bit early for the OP to be saying "I told you so."
GunnerBill Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 I'm curious to see how long the hybrid LB/S fad lasts in the league. They are great to defend the pass but can be huge liabilities in the run game (Arizona has been very successful with their guys in that role but we ran all over them). This. And I was anti Cravens because of it.
