26CornerBlitz Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Wired for Sound: Robert Woods (3:20)In this edition of Wired for Sound, we mic'd up WR Robert Woods in the Bills' win against the Arizona Cardinals.
fridge Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Really liked seeing how amped up he gets during the field goal block/TD. He strikes me as an all around selfless team-first kind of guy.
Big C Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Glad to see Spikes maintaining a vocal role with the team despite playing very few snaps. Woods seemed to be in a good mood throughout but his body language in other videos I've seen shows frustration with lack of targets, etc. Probably less frustrating when you're winning wire-to-wire.
Bad Things Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 There's a surprisingly large amount of people that like to talk down about Woods on this board. Not me. The guy is a total gamer with a feisty attitude. I love his game.
What a Tuel Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 There's a surprisingly large amount of people that like to talk down about Woods on this board. Not me. The guy is a total gamer with a feisty attitude. I love his game. All over the place outside of this board too. A lot of people don't think of him as a legit #2 WR. I think of him as an under utilized legit #2 WR.
BillsMafiaWA Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 Woods is a very good athlete and a good blocker. He hasn't got many targets but also has had drops. I like him too maybe some better plays designed for him
TallskiWallski83 Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 (edited) If I'm a savy GM and have a team that likes to pass the ball, Robert Woods would be a hell of a bargain on a 1 year "prove it" type deal when he hits FA Edited September 27, 2016 by TallskiWallski83

The guy is a total gamer with a feisty attitude. I love his game. The issue I have with woods is how often he loses his footing in routes or on RAC. He also has had plenty of opportunity to step up and he's never seized it as a number 1 or 2. I want to like him, but he's never had an impressive stretch and he's been in the league too long and had too many opportunities to just ignore the lack of production as if it's not at all his fault.
