DC Bills Fan Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 From ESPN: "I can sit back and say I don't care who plays quarterback, because [Tom] Brady ain't," Ryan said Sunday. "I don't care who plays quarterback. Steve Grogan can play quarterback. If [bill] Belichick's playing quarterback, we're coming after him, I promise you that." Based on his body of work, I think that Rex would be smarter to sit back and enjoy a victory instead of making stupid pronouncements. Can't someone shut this clown up?

And pretty much agree. WTF Rex? I get it you won a single game in convincing fashion. So yea take shots at a division rival.

He's giving away our secret plan to pressure the QB - when will this guy learn!?

ricojes Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 When you're asked the same question a hundred times, sometimes your emotions get the best of you. I think that's Rex's issue, he can't hear the same stupid question over and over and give the same "Coach speak" answer. That being said, I don't think this comment is anything to be alarmed about. Definitely not bulletin board material for the **Patsies.
r00tabaga Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 We signed up for this when we got Rex. I like that this game will be one of the games of the week. Marrone, Jauron, Mularkey, ehh not so much.
offsides#76FredSmerlas Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 agree 100% He always gloats and says dumb crap! Have some class and stay calm big boy, your hanging on to your job by a thread. One game don't prove anything. Show some consistency and stop acting like you just won a super bowl. The Pats by the way are 3-0 with their back ups and you are 1-2 with the 90 million dollar man.
Blokestradamus Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Bill Belichick is to Rex Ryan what dry roasted peanuts are to my diet. We shouldn't but we do because we can't help ourselves.
bobobonators Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 I personally don't mind. It's a divisional game. What did he exactly say? He didn't personally offend anyone. He's simply happy they're not facing Brady (and who wouldn't be), and that they're bringing pressure. Bulletin board material.

Like everything else on ESPN. If you listen to the press conference... it was not like a big boasting statement. It was like a sarcastic aside. As in - i have answered 10 questions about the game we just played. I have nothing to say about the game I haven't thought about. Edited September 26, 2016 by dneveu
bmur66 Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 (edited) Sometimes it's better to be humble. Actually it's always better. Edited September 26, 2016 by bmur66

Rocky Landing Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Isn't the "rex is an idiot" idea being discussed in, like, every other thread?
BUFFALOTONE Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Lighten up Francis... I took it as, it doesnt matter who the QB is, we are coming after them. NEWSFLASH - REX RYAN DOES NOT ANSWER QUESTION CONSERVATIVELY AT PRESS CONFERENCE

I saw that snippet from his presser, and I couldn't f'ing believe it. You're giving the Cheats bulletin board material? Have you not learned your f'ing lesson? How about you say something innocuous, like "We'll have to be ready for whoever is QB". This assclown needs to go to the Crash Davis school of cliches.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 In the overall scheme of Sunday's game, this means absolutely nothing.
Nihilarian Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 This is nothing new for Rex Ryan! Things went his way for this game and now the Bills are unstoppable as is his ego! It would be nice if he would just keep things low-keyed like he did before the Cards game. Now he is gonna fire up the Patriots players and fans.
Freddie's Dead Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 In the overall scheme of Sunday's game, this means absolutely nothing. You wanna take away our righteous indignation too?
quinnearlysghost88 Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 This sounds familiar... 2015: "i dont even know their no-name rb, he's done nothing in the league" Dion Lewis puts up 138 all purpose yards and a TD.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 You wanna take away our righteous indignation too? Nope! Vent and make a big deal of a trivial matter. It's the TSW way. Revel on my friend.
