Ah yes, Coach Landry. I fine man. Oh, how did these Cowboys treat Coach Landry on his way out? With disrespect. Dallas is certainly my most hated NFC team -- most hated non-AFC East team.

I'll second that with no hesitation.

He was as magnificent as the defense and ST's.  Again, as I've been saying.

Yeah the D wasnt good but Drew was worse........as usual. As much as he kept trying to screw up the Seahawks game the D wouldn't let him.

Yeah, fabulous.

It was a team loss, but not a glowing example to use if you're in the business of defending Drew.  For that, you'd have to go back to week 7 of the 2002 season.

I'm not here to defend ANYONE'S play in that game. I still get pissed off thinking about that wet-ass performance by EVERYONE. But what I don't get is how the #2 ranked defense and #1 ranked ST's who allegedly carried the team, get a pass despite choking against 2nd and 3rd stringers, but Bledsoe, who by all accounts is a crappy player who brought down the offense, was expected to ELEVATE his play and win the game by himself. I just doesn't make sense.

We are more willing to give them a free pass BECAUSE of how they played during the 6 prior games. The defense and ST played LIGHTS out football for 6 straight weeks. Bledsoe averaged 160 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT in that span. You simply can't expect your D and ST to play perfect for 7 games in a row. Yes, they did sh-- the bed, and no, I'm not happy. But it's easier to be pissed at Drew since he sucked for 7 weeks, people kept defending him, and then in that matchup he literally handed the game ending (and season ending) score to the Steelers.

I wish that we could play Dallas this year.

Yes, I forgot that shabby treatment. Since you jogged my memory, I will join you in despising them. This is not sarcasm BTW.

Wrong. The offense had SEVEN three and outs in the Pitt game. Add in Drew's 10 POINT gift off his turnovers and you get the "Drew Light Special". That loss was ALL on Drew baby and the reason for todays festivities in Dallas.

Didn't he find out he was fired by hearing it on the news? Jerry and Jimmy -- all class.

You didn't expect the defense or ST's to play "perfect?" How about even just average? I don't think that ANY defense should give up 19 points to 2nd and 3rd stringers, much less the #2 defense in the NFL. And a kicker should make a 28-yarder and NOT give the opponent great field position on kickoffs, and a punt returner shouldn't fumble, again with the best ST's in the NFL, and at home. And what about the 5 runs by Willis for zero or negative yards? The horribly-timed penalties? The lack of a TE which was fine for the bad defenses the Bills played, but bit them in the ass against a GOOD defense like the Steelers?

Like I said, it was a team loss and wasn't anymore Bledsoe's fault than anyone else on that team. And also like I said, I expected the Bills to make improvements on offense no matter WHO the QB was, and all I can hope is that JP can at least play at the same level Drew did what with the improvements, but that's far from a given.

First...I agree with MBD on this point, idiot though he is. :D

Second, the whole "who lost against Pittsburgh" argument is incredibly stupid. Are people actually willing to argue that the D and ST didn't suck in that game in some extraordinarily feeble attempt to make Bledsoe look worse???

Uh huh. To paraphrase: "the defense and ST's couldn't be expected to show up against 2nd and 3rd stringers after blowing their collective wads the previous 7 weeks, but Bledsoe was supposed to magically transform into Favre in his prime." Sorry if I understated that in anyway.

SEVEN three and outs and giving the opposition 10 GIFT POINTS is practically begging the defense to become tired and drained in the 4th quarter.

Bledsoe is the sole goat for the Steeler loss. We get even adequate performance from our QB that day and Pittsburg is toast.

What about the 5 rushes for 0 or negative yards? Think they contributed to the 7 3-and-outs? What about the fact that up until the 9 minute drive by the Steelers, the TOP was equal? Sorry but fatigue is NOT an excuse for the defense and again it wasn't just Drew who played poorly.

You could say that about the defense and/or ST's.

Yeah, that's why the defense held Willie Parker (Willie !@#$ing Parker!!!) to 102 yards rushing. That's why Jeff Reed kicked 5 field goals. Because of Bledsoe.

Do you really hate Bledsoe so much that it's that impossible to accept that the entire team sucked against Pittsburgh? Do you look out the window in the morning and say "It's raining, damn that Bledsoe!" too?
