atlbillsfan1975 Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 In their prime, Manning was the better QB I always felt. Now my perception did get tainted as they grew older and Mannings play dropped off considerably and Brady's kept going. Manning had a crap D and HC who were nothing close to BB. Tony Dungy is an amazing person and probably one of the best human beings to ever be around the game, BB is a far better coach.
PatsFanNH Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 Brady may be the best touch football QB ever, but stating he's better than all time greats who played against defenses that were allowed to hit people is laughable. I agree, I myself do not like comparing different generations.
Thurmal34 Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 And Manning also didn't excel because of the system he was playing in? Sorry Brady is the best ever No QB from this modern era is the "best ever". This era has like 17 guys that could be the "best evah". Passing is a joke. Penalties in the passing game are a joke. How many 5,000 yard passers were there before they changed the rules? How many are there now? "Wins" isn't a stat. Brady is a great QB. However, he played QB at a time when the rules were changed to make passing easy. Its not his fault, but it sucks for him.
