jimmy10 Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 I think that we should realign as well. The Bills should be in a division with the Browns, 49ers and the Bears AFC Least?
K-Apps Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 at this defeatist attitude, Pats won't be dominant forever, at some point Belichick will retire, lets hope Pegulas make sound decisions and have a good GM, coach, and QB in place by then.
Just Jack Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 Wow... this subject has never come up before. At least once a year it seems.... http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/187290-nfl-realignment-needed/?hl=divisions http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/183501-nfl-should-be-2-divisions-per-conference/?hl=divisions http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/177885-what-change-would-you-make-if-you-were-commissioner/page-4?hl=divisions&do=findComment&comment=3539118 And that's just a really quick search.
GunnerBill Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 I think that we should realign as well. The Bills should be in a division with the Browns, 49ers and the Bears Woohoooooo! 8-8 here we come baby!
....lybob Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 It's time to take the Bills, Detroit, Cleveland, And Chicago and smoosh them into one team called the Great Lakes Mistakes - they will be allowed a 200 man active roster and if they do better than 8-8 they will automatically win the Lombardi trophy.
PromoTheRobot Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 Been saying for years, swap the Bills and the Ravens. Put us in the AFC North.
1st Ammendment NoMas Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 AFC North: AFC East: AFC South: AFC West: Patriots Jets Titans Raiders Colts Ravens Dolphins Chiefs Bengals Steelers Texans Broncos Browns Bills Jaguars Chargers NFC North: NFC East: NFC South: NFC West: Lions Redskins Buccaneers Seahawks Packers Eagles Saints Rams Vikings Giants Falcons Cardinals Bears Panthers Cowboys 49ers this makes sense, but it probably won't happen. The best scenario would be to have an actual team that could beat the Patsies for once.
metzelaars_lives Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 (edited) Time to stop starting threads about realigning divisions. The divisions are FINE. The NFL needs to start doing more leaving well enough alone. Someone should start a thread about top ten most reoccurring threads. Number one would definitely be "I'm gonna be in Buffalo next weekend, where should I go?" Edited September 24, 2016 by metzelaars_lives
metzelaars_lives Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 Been saying for years, swap the Bills and the Ravens. Put us in the AFC North. It's not all about geography. The Ravens-Steelers is currently the best rivalry in football and the Ravens and Browns will always be natural rivals. The divisions are perfect as they are. If I were starting from scratch, I'd draw them up exactly as they currently are.
Dr.Sack Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 AFC Rust Belt - Buffalo, Detroit, Cleveland, Pittsburgh AFC North East - New England, NY Jets, NY Giants, Philly AFC South East - Miami, Jacksonville, Tampa, Atlanta AFC Atlantic - Baltimore, Washington, Atlanta, Carolina NFC Central - Tennessee, Cincy, Chicago, New Orleans NFC Mid West - Minnesota, Green Bay, KC, Indy NFC West - Seattle, San Fran, Los Angeles, San Diego NFC Mountain - Arizona, Denver, Vegas, Dallas
What a Tuel Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 (edited) Excessive, but I have fun with this! Not sure about the last bit, I think there are a few anomolies that if I were starting from scratch I'd change but I do agree that there is zero need for realignment at the moment.

The divisions are fine, he says, as "division winners" continue to sneak in at 7-9, 8-8, 7-8-1....
nucci Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 The divisions are fine, he says, as "division winners" continue to sneak in at 7-9, 8-8, 7-8-1.... This will happen whether you realign or not
GunnerBill Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 This will happen whether you realign or not Yep. Unless they go to the 2 conference but just 4 divisions structure some suggest. That would almost certainly mean you would require a winning record to make it in. I think realignment is something to forget about until expansion.
billsfan_34 Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 Why realign? We cant beat people out of our division , in our conference or in the other conference.
Samwell Tarly Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 Albuquerque isotopes? That's a deep Simpsons reference there....

Good point and regarding expansion....there aren't enough good QBs in the league right now......expansion will make this even worse

Blow it all up and make regional rivalries. Just like college.
