jethro_tull Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 I truly believe if the Bills lose @ New England next week and third stringer Jacoby Brissett is still their starter, Rex will be fired on the spot. Possibly if Garoppolo starts as well.
Augie Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 What would be the point? No. I hate in season firings like that, unless it results in tanking and landing a HOF QB, then I bend my standards.
Rico Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 No, they're still the Pats, playing in Foxboro at that. Get rolled by Blaine Gabbert in Buffalo to go to 0-5? Maybe.
Best Player Available Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 IMO the ryan bros unless they show signs of life are gone at the bye. Lynn--- new HC & keeps his OC gig as interm coach Thurman stays. What else can they do? He is just there in name only. Maybe he has ideas himself. as an Interm DC. Whaley stays until the season is over. need a guy for some dumster pick ups when people go down. Brandon stays. because you know he is just on the busness side. and if any serious good gm comes too town I doubt they would agree to that guy getting anywhere near a football decision. IMO after several vodkas.
jumbalaya Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 I think we should forfeit the season. Hand out some weed as that's more important to most of these players than their job. Get rid of Rex, Rob and Doug and replace them with Curly, Larry & Moe.

Big Gun Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 I doubt it, but I could see it happening and it wouldn't surprise me.
Nick the Greek Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 We're gonna beat the Cards. Mark it down. Then we get blown out by the Pats.
jimmy10 Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 Separate firings of a coordinator and HC in the same season? Has that ever happened before?
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 Not unless it's 9 or 10 losses, including a few embarrassing ones. If they fall that far, you've gotta call it a day.
1st Ammendment NoMas Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 this season is already a tire fire... seeing the Pats roll the Texans just rubs salt in the gaping wound.
John from Riverside Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 this season is already a tire fire... seeing the Pats roll the Texans just rubs salt in the gaping wound. waaaaaaa waaaaaaaa
reddogblitz Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 Separate firings of a coordinator and HC in the same season? Has that ever happened before? Turk and Dick both got fired in the same season (2009).

Niagara Bill Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 this site sucks right on, but it was not always that way....it got real bad about 30 posts ago when GrassValley joined up
bmur66 Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 At 0-4 I say tank it. Keep Rex for the remainder of the season. I don't know much about what QB's are coming out but if there is a really good one I say go for it. Don't win another freaking game. Get the no.1 pick and then completely blow it up at the end of the season. But with the Bills luck they will probably get the 3rd or 4th pick and there won't be a good QB there. May as well just jump off a bridge I guess.
BreezeMafia Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 (edited) I truly believe if the Bills lose @ New England next week and third stringer Jacoby Brissett is still their starter, Rex will be fired on the spot. Possibly if Garoppolo starts as well. I hope so, sooner the better. Obviously disappointing that it would be in season, but just get him out of hear ASAP. Based on a firing, I hope that a tier 1 / top notch football guy will look past the Peg's meeting with offensive players last Friday without letting the coach know. Sorry, but even with as much I prefer Rex fired, I just don't think that was a good move by the owners to do that. Edited September 23, 2016 by BillsinChesterSprings
Solomon Grundy Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 Tell me why EJ Manuel couldn't/can't do what Brissett done last night?
jimmy10 Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 this site sucks You should ask for your money back.
