Pats bullet points:

-Bill is a fantastic defensive coach

-They got Brady

-They invest heavily in offense, and Brady support staff (both football players and coaches)

-Bill makes lemonade out of the defense when he has too, b/c he can and he supports the offense like a rational coach

-When Brady is out or things are bad, they still have the stable infrastructure of a modern offensive scheme, talented guys familiar with it, and an adjustable defense with a good coach

All of this allows them to game plan to win each week. If they game plan correctly and play well they have a chance every week, no matter what.

We suck.

Is it too early to say that some rookie QB named Jacoby has now provided more value than our first 3 draft picks combined?

Taylor might not be our guy, but I am sure glad Osweiler doesn't play here. He's not very good.

I've always said that Taylor and Osweiler are the same QB in completely different bodies.

That same thing happened to the Bills against the Titans last year. Fumbled punt the refs blew the whistle to say the guy was down and the Titans still recovered after the whistle blew. They challenged and were given the football. I was screaming at my tv. Nobody picked up on it of course.

These announcers are the NFL's version of good ole boys now. They always try to make it look like it was the right call.

To be fair, Adolphus Washington picks up fresh bagels and donuts every morning on his way to the facility and that type of impact cannot be measured.

Now take BB out of those defense bullets. Add Matt Patricia seeing it has been his defense since 2010

Well then, at worst, Bill understand the how to win the NFL in 2016 and, therefore, can identify and hire coaches who do also...and also can make sure the Pats don't build a team that isn't suitable for winning. In some ways, he's getting the most value out of his roster of 10 years than any coach ever has.

Fair point. Plus "Adolphus" has that old world feel to it. "Jacoby" just sounds like a name out of a Baby Names book.

Now that I do agree with. But Matt Patricia is an amazing up and coming coach that i hope when Rex and his crew get fired that he is on our list to interview.

Adolphus will look very well once Rex is canned and we go back to a 4-3

After watching Osweiler's and Taylor's putrid performances so far this season Houston GM Rick Smith and Buffalo GM Doug Whaley are left wondering whether they paid enough. Could a few million more in signing bonuses have resulted in better play??? You decide.

The good thing is our GM built themselves an easy out in that contract. Houston not so much
