4merper4mer Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 (edited) SDS ran out of storage for last year's excuses, so please put 2016's here. So far Kim Jung QB is 0-2. There were 5 defensive or special teams touchdowns in the entire league yesterday. 40% of them were gifts from the impervious one. Edited September 19, 2016 by 4merper4mer
YoloinOhio Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 (edited) No running game No defense Bad coaching Played best D in the league. Last week, Luck looked great but his defense gave up a million to the freaking lions who turned around and scored 15 vs the Titans and lost. Edited September 19, 2016 by YoloinOhio
Beef Jerky Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Good QBs don't need excuses, smart people that watch them know what is wrong.
MDH Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Where was this thread after last week's game?
jr1 Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 he hurt himself in the TD Ameritrade commercial
MAJBobby Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 The shine has worn off for me the last two years on Luck. Not the automatic first ballot HOF that people were annointing him after his rookie year.
4merper4mer Posted September 19, 2016 Author Posted September 19, 2016 Where was this thread after last week's game loss to the friggin Lions? Fixed
Billschinatown Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 ANDREW LUCK BORTLES WINSTON TANNEHILL IS A QB ON THE RISE
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Reminds me of the great David Carr. Here were the excuses every year: 1) all he needs is a great no. 2 WR. 2) just give him a great TE. 3) better slot guy 4) better RB 5) better line 6) better defense
4BillsintheBurgh Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 He needs a gm. He should have realized that before he signed for all the money.
PO16FFS Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 (edited) Im glad we got Tyrod and all the other bums weve had over the years. Go BIlls! Edited September 19, 2016 by PO16FFS
4merper4mer Posted September 19, 2016 Author Posted September 19, 2016 You're just trolling now. My point is this: When Luck wins he is brilliant. When he loses you must be trolling if you criticize him. He's not a bad guy, he's just not the QB he is touted to be or anything close to it. Any QB, if given credit for wins and absolved for losses would be undefeated. That is basically the luxury Luck enjoys. It is a function of him being thought of as the next great marketing opportunity/QB. ESPN and Madison avenue hold on to their narratives for a long time. If he had the storyline of a good prospect with things to learn it would have been easier on him because that was the reality. He instead had the storyline of the anointed one. The miracle of miracles. He isn't that. He is easily flustered as seen by him being rattled by the Rex D last year. Kirk Cousins shredded it. If Luck had that kind of game against us they would have built statues. Everybody in every field should have to earn their stripes. If the stripes are given to you may never progress.
SoFFacet Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 He's a good player on a bad team. Wins and losses are a team outcome. Dumb thread is dumb.
Wayne Arnold Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 They're just waiting for Michigan to win the national championship so they can welcome back Jim Harbaugh to turn the franchise around.
Nihilarian Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 No running game No defense Bad coaching Played best D in the league. Last week, Luck looked great but his defense gave up a million to the freaking lions who turned around and scored 15 vs the Titans and lost. This! Luck won't find much success in Indy until the owner fires the current GM and HC. That same GM is the same idiot who traded Jerry Hughes to Buffalo because he was a failed Polian draft pick and he is too stupid to build a proper line, run game and hire a top DC. Luck looked like the next Manning until Arians left for Arizona.
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Reminds me of the great David Carr. Here were the excuses every year: 1) all he needs is a great no. 2 WR. 2) just give him a great TE. 3) better slot guy 4) better RB 5) better line 6) better defense Exactly - just get a better everything and he'll be amazing.
Fan in Chicago Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 No running game No defense Bad coaching Maybe they can try firing the OC
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Maybe they can try firing the OC In this case one would fire the DC
