harv shitz Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 As Jimmy Garoppolo carves up the phins secondary, looking very Brady like in just a game and a quarter, it appears another great quarterback was missed. I was on this board pleading with the Bills to pick this kid, but we didn't need him, we had E.J. Good job, Doug, you and Buddy have put this team in the position its in, simply by passing by quality quarterbacks. Neither of you two would know a quarterback prospect if he hit you in the nuts with a football!

MAJBobby Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Here is the question. Does Jimmy G develop the way he has in NE with the clown show coaching staff we have had?
Saint Doug Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 I doubt Garappolo would be great on our team. Belichick may not be loved around here, but he's one of the best coaches the NFL has seen. He sets up his QBs to win. We don't.
Best Player Available Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Jimmy G -----136 yards passing in the first 10 minutes.
Wayne Arnold Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 lol Garappolo is just another Patriots quarterback who looks great in Belichick's NE system but will suck everywhere else he goes. (Hoyer, Cassel, Mallett, Garappolo, etc.)

(Hoyer, Cassel, Mallett, Garappolo, etc.) Too bad he likely wont go anywhere else and will end uo spanking whatever team Bills field for next 15 years
jaybee Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 I've gotta say the kid looks very comfortable back there. Like he belongs. He just out-muscled Kiko and avoided a sack too.

(Hoyer, Cassel, Mallett, Garappolo, etc.) When did Hoyer and Mallett have this amazing success with the Pats that you are referring to?
Bangarang Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Tyrod's on pace for 24td 8int This is a case where watching the games is important instead of looking at just the box score. Tyrod has been as mediocre as it gets so far.
harv shitz Posted September 18, 2016 Author Posted September 18, 2016 Here is the question. Does Jimmy G develop the way he has in NE with the clown show coaching staff we have had? That is a great question, it is kind of hard to believe he would.
Best Player Available Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 21-0 with 12 minutes left in the half. Maybe the hoodie is thinking it's time to pull his QB already.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Great? He's already great? He's already better than Taylor
Beef Jerky Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Here is the question. Does Jimmy G develop the way he has in NE with the clown show coaching staff we have had? Develop? Two games can't tell you anything.
MAJBobby Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Develop? Two games can't tell you anything. His mechanics, footwork, vision, ball placement has developed nicely since he was drafted. Were as our QB nothing has developed if anything gotten worse
Rico Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 He may look good now, but let's just see what he does 2 weeks from now. Bills have that game in the bag, I read it on this board.
Boatdrinks Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 I doubt Garappolo would be great on our team. Belichick may not be loved around here, but he's one of the best coaches the NFL has seen. He sets up his QBs to win. We don't. It's apparent the Pats ahave a great offensive system and coaches running it. They have also run it for 14 years, so they have the perfect parts to run it. Makes it easier on a QB if everything else is working, a la Frank Reich with the Bills O. So it's unlikely Garrappolo would be doing this somewhere else. Doesn't mean he's not a good QB, but it wouldn't be looking like this.

Titans?
