Nick the Greek Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Maybe I'd be in.. But didn't EJ throw an int on his 3rd throw against the Jets? I like his personality, but he's not a good football player.

Hapless Bills Fan Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 I had to double check- I thought Gugny started this thread... Must be same dude/gal

nuklz2594 Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 i will grow an eyeball on my knee before this happens
Socal-805 Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 i will grow an eyeball on my knee before this happens Ryan AND Whaley are BOTH all in on TT, and are going down with the TT ship no matter what, as their jobs depend on it. Whaley is a bust Ryan is a bust TT - too soon to tell, but not looking real good IMO.
Very wide right Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 I gurantee you that is not going to happen Would you have guaranteed the Bills would not start 0-3?
Freddie's Dead Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Ryan is not Maroon. He's not going to pull the plug on Tie-rod unless Tie-rod sustains an injury. Da Beelz are not going to bench their $9M QB.
What a Tuel Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 We are 6 days into the Bills season and this madness has already arrived. I was already hearing calls for Cardale after the Ravens game.
Dr. Fong Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 That doesn't make sense on any level. Great **** post.
Dr.Sack Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Which QB would work better in the Patriots short pass game system, EJ or Tyrod?
Kirby Jackson Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Which QB would work better in the Patriots short pass game system, EJ or Tyrod?I don't think that either would be great but the answer has to be Tyrod. He's been the more accurate passer throughout his career.
John from Riverside Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Would you have guaranteed the Bills would not start 0-3? No? But the situation is a bit different in these different scenarios
Dr.Sack Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 I don't think that either would be great but the answer has to be Tyrod. He's been the more accurate passer throughout his career. Tyrod's lack of touch and accuracy in the midrange game and screen game definitively would hinder him in that offense. EJ has the arm, but his inability to recognize defenses would likely be his downfall. It's not that EJ is inaccurate in that so many of his throws are late and thrown without anticipation. So much of the Payriots offense is about timing and reading coverage.
Beef Jerky Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Cardale>Manuel. Which QB would work better in the Patriots short pass game system, EJ or Tyrod? Tyrod b.c EJ can't throw passes.
Tenhigh Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Tyrod's lack of touch and accuracy in the midrange game and screen game definitively would hinder him in that offense. EJ has the arm, but his inability to recognize defenses would likely be his downfall. It's not that EJ is inaccurate in that so many of his throws are late and thrown without anticipation. So much of the Payriots offense is about timing and reading coverage.Maybe we line EJ up at halfback, when TT takes his 3 step drop EJ can grab him around the waist and hoist him up so that TT can see the middle of the field.
BuffaloHokie13 Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 They aren't pulling TT for performance. They certainly aren't pulling him for EJ. EJ Manuel has zero chance of ever being the Bills long-term starter. He may start a game or 2 due to injury. They aren't pulling TT for EJ (ever). Unless it's 3rd & 1 or 4th & 1 and Greg Roman is the OC...
CodeMonkey Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 If the Pats are down to their 3rd string rookie QB for that game then Ryan starts TT. TT just might be able to lead the offense to enough points to win in that case and if the Bills beat the Pats maybe Ryan lives to coach another season, If Jimmy G can go then he might start EJ because it gives him an excuse for losing to the backup QB to go along with his rookie OC. How can this season be so !@#$ing terrible this early.
jumbalaya Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Tyrod has been horrible. He is not the franchise answer. He looks like another player that got his money and then quit on the team. 7 points on the road, 17 at home and 14 of those on lucky plays.
