ChevyVanMiller Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 I know this is a minor issue after the loss last night and the blood-letting today, but just wondering if those red spray paint booths worked last night? I was on the lookout for people that offered themselves up and didn't see even one anywhere near me at the stadium last night. Just wondering if anyone did it or saw anyone that did?
BillnutinHouston Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 (edited) Yes, my son and I did it. I'm guessing it wasn't as popular as they expected because initially the rules were you needed to get a full body spray in exchange for a gift card good for a free cap (up to $39) from the Bills Store. But when we got there they said a little on the face and arms would get you the gift card. It washed off easily with water so, minimal effort for a free cap. A NE t-shirt and water bottle were also thrown in. I did better there than I did with DirecTV this year. Edited September 17, 2016 by BillnutinHouston
Just Jack Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 The ones I saw it was a really bad spray job.

So THIS is what people were talking about regarding the marketing genius of Russ Brandon!!
GottaRun Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 You could give me free seasons and I'm not getting painted up like a fire hydrant.

BillnutinHouston Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 [ And hopefully thrown back at them, why would you want a new England Shirt and Water bottle? I guess I should have specified but I thought it was rather obvious: NE = New Era
CommonCents Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 [ I guess I should have specified but I thought it was rather obvious: NE = New Era Dang I thought you meant they were using Patriot shirts to wipe up the paint with.
DDD Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 What kind of ass clown would paint themselves red let alone for a gift card for Bills merchandise. Laughable.
QCity Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 I didn't see many people using the booths last night. Here's my theory: The heavy drinkers typically paint themselves in the parking lot looooong before they enter the game, and the sober people want nothing to do with body painting.
Heitz Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 So THIS is what people were talking about regarding the marketing genius of Russ Brandon!! To be clear this was a NE activation, so unlikely Russ had anything to do with it. It was a fine idea in theory, but the spray jobs I saw were not great. I did see several painted up people though, so some fans were intrigued by the idea...
PolishDave Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 @billsupdates Twitter numbers help boost overall NFL Thursday night viewing of #Bills-#Jets game http://trib.al/5Xh7mux I don't know Will Smith was at the game? Cool. He's a Bills fan.
Cereal Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 I showed up to the booth at ~4pm, and waited in line for a few minutes before giving up... They were really disorganized and were taking forever. I was unimpressed.
Marv's Neighbor Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 What kind of ass clown would paint themselves red let alone for a gift card for Bills merchandise. Laughable. A very drunk clown?
