26CornerBlitz Posted September 16, 2016 Author Posted September 16, 2016 @MatthewFairburn Remember when Rex Ryan said he would be the first mother f***** to go if things didn't go well for the Bills? So much for that.
Maury Ballstein Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 That is like friggen huge......implications to Tyrod Taylor? He will continue to stink ? Weren't we worried about him leaving to become an NFL head coach last season? Yes that and losing Tyrod
dave mcbride Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Commit career suicide for an early vacation? He has now gotten fired from two jobs in what 3 years? He is toast. He is well regarded by many. He did a very good job in SF, and they nosedived after he left.
LabattBlue Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 I dunno. Who is supposed to have initiated it, Whaley? How about anyone but the owner of the team who doesn't know jack **** about football operations. What a clusterf***
Kirby Jackson Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Welp, there the 1st to fall on the sword
NoSaint Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Actually it's Anthony Lynn, but I have no doubt that Palmer will have significant input. we will see if thats true. it wouldnt be shocking to see a rex guy not want to have a roman guy be in a heavy role. thats not meant as a rex knock, but organizationally there very well may be some power struggle in filling the vacuum left and we have a few different regimes in the room with two former OCs getting getting passed up for a rex guy thats never held the role. they could very well get right on board too. its very much a wait and see situation.
CommonCents Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 When I saw us go for a 4th down conversion with Shady in the backfield and not a powerback....I was at the point of "something needs to change here" I was not expecting this You were worried about Shady and not the gimmicky EJ thing?
Chuck Wagon Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 So they are changing the color of the lipstick on the pig?
Peter Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 My problem with Roman (and maybe the reason the move was made) is that it takes so freaking long for plays to come in (both last year and this year). If Peyton played for us, he would not have any time to say "Omaha Omaha . . . ."
Best Player Available Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Please tell me that this wasn't initiated by Pegula. Please tell me. If true...were f***ed the last 5 minutes on nfln is all about this. including and I am paraphrasing just a bit from Pegula. "this is Rex Ryans team I support him" not a word on the D.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Yikes; this is not good. I really liked Roman. The problem is with the players, IMO. Roman needed to adjust to the players
The Poojer Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 i was skeptical about the late call speculation, but last night in 2 minute drills, TT seemed to not have multiple plays called and ready to be run, and was looking at the sidelines with his arms outstretched as if to say WTF??? Late calls. Wasn't getting the RB in the passing game. No screens. Inability to use a TE.Not the answer but a step in the right direction.
jms62 Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Given the way their offense performed last year isn't it rather abrupt?
NoSaint Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 @MatthewFairburn Remember when Rex Ryan said he would be the first mother f***** to go if things didn't go well for the Bills? So much for that. im sure people that were in the room are remembering that bluster
Buffalo Barbarian Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 @MatthewFairburn Remember when Rex Ryan said he would be the first mother f***** to go if things didn't go well for the Bills? So much for that. Rex kickin guys off the titanic!
Wayne Cubed Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 He is well regarded by many. He did a very good job in SF, and they nosedived after he left. Yea but Harbaugh left too. Hard to say who the success in SF was tied too. If you're a Bills fan you wanna believe it was Roman.
