Really bush league by Gilmore, though I am sure he regrets it now.

It is not his MO either.

We all make mistakes.

I do agree the fine should be very distinguishable from taunting though.

dont disagree. However I saw much lack of discipline on the side of the Jets as well.

Yes, but their coach is a mannequin on the sidelines. Can't be his fault. It's not like he lost to Rex's undisciplined buffoons twice last year or anything like.... Errrrrr nevermind .

Oh- I know it spirals as we look for an answer. Easier to blame the guy we expect to be gone soon as a way to maintain hope that it'll be better once he leaves (in this case Gilmore)... but still... jeeeeeze.

 

Oh its warranted right now for sure. Can you imagine if he had signed whatever big deal the Bills were offering this offseason?!? Fans would have ran him out of town by now.

 

I thought Rex Ryan was the new "whipping boy". Or does it have to be a player?

 

Ha! Gotta be a player. The coach being hated is just a given so it's separate.

My personal favorite TBD whipping boy of all times remains Chris Kelsey.

 

We have several now. EJ, Gilmore, and new this year, Hotrod.

 

Kelsay is who usually pops into my mind when I see the term. Him and Lee Evans.
