It's obvious that McCoy is not an effective short yardage runner. - he loses yards more than he gains in these situations. In years past we had fFed Jackson who seemed to get that yard more times than not and last year it was Karlos "i blew my career" Williams. Who this year? Obviously this is not the only problem the Bills have, but when trying to sustain a drive on 3rd & 1 or 2, it would be nice to have someone you can count on.

NoSaint Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 (edited) instead of lamenting the players we dont have, you make smart scheme choices. in an "and inches" situation you dont have to bring in 3 TEs and an extra lineman. sammy, goodwin, woods, clay and mccoy can be your package and force the defense to be small and spread out. hackett used to be great about putting our weakest players against the defenses strongest and telegraphing that we were going right at them. thats exactly what happened on that sequence Edited September 16, 2016 by NoSaint
