IronyAbounds Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Thank goodness the easy part of the schedule is coming up. Oh, wait.
Peter Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 (edited) I still support Rex. I am pissed and catatonic about the game, but I still support Rex. As I was watching the Jets offense, I could not help but think about how many people here ran Chan Gailey out of town (or had Fire Chan as their name). Negativity breeds negativity. We have some specialists in negativity here. I need to take a break from here for at least a day or two. I really don't enjoy being around a lynch mob. Edited September 16, 2016 by Peter

He couldn't manage a game any better than Rex and couldn't find a DC that was worth a dam
Reed83HOF Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 No one had a problem with his offense. He couldn't manage a game any better than Rex and couldn't find a DC that was worth a dam I dunno if Wanny would have given up 400 yards to Fitz...
billsfan714 Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 (edited) Rob has really brought that NO D knowledge to the Bills...That was at the home opener on national TV and we were retiring Bruce's number. ....and Rex's D made Fitzy look like Big Ben......its downhill from here folks Edited September 16, 2016 by billsfan714

He can't handle being a head guy, but is a very good coordinator....Just like Wade Philips.

He's done nothing since 2010. I was a huge Gailey and Fitz fan. I still am honestly. I think they got run out not because they were bad, but because they could only get a team so far. We reached that point and moved on. Maybe we end up being wrong. Maybe Bowles is enough to get them over the hump. The NFL changes in waves. Rex was great over 6 years ago and his way doesn't get it done anymore. Or maybe he's like Gailey and just needs to be a coordinator. I don't know.
killshot Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 He needs to resign and spend his time campaigning for his buddy Trump . Some of the decisions tonight were so dumb I don't know what were they thinking .
Bangarang Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Rex not knowing why Sammy wasn't on the field is just like Marrone not knowing Hughes wasn't on the field for the defense. We only hire clown coaches.
Coastie Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 (edited) Dammit in 40+ years of Fandom this for sure is the most depressed and resigned I've ever been after the 2nd freaking game Five days into the Bills' season and I am right there with you. That has to be a record... I got to have hope this season for only FIVE days. Edited September 16, 2016 by Coastie
Pneumonic Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Rex is the ultimate salesman. He pitched the organization and conned them, and many of its fans, into thinking he was a good HC which he is not.
KGUNBILLS Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 I really think Rex is delusional. He said he just did not expect this outcome, now I know you are supposed to be confident and believe in yourself but he sounded dumbfounded and in shock at how we played. I don't know but after last weeks loss this performance shouldn't surprise anyone. I was surprised that we scored 31 points.
stevewin Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Five days into the Bills' season and I am right there with you. That has to be a record... I got to have hope this season for only FIVE days. Damn - five days - didn't even think of it that way. Definitely a record then
The Frankish Reich Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 He refuses to be a DC and based on Rob's recent history I think they're going out of the league together That's right. Rex is such a natural he'll slip right into the Ditka loudmouth studio guy (I can't see any network using him for in-game coverage; he's too distracting). But his days as an NFL coach are numbered in the double digits now. Rob? I see no future in football at all for him.
Reed83HOF Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Here's Sully: http://bills.buffalonews.com/2016/09/15/fitz-carves-bills-gets-redemption/ Can't even argue. Even though he is an A$$hole, he may be right about the bills all along; how bad is that?
Buffalo Barbarian Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 No one had a problem with his offense. He couldn't manage a game any better than Rex and couldn't find a DC that was worth a dam If he only hired Wade. He needs to resign and spend his time campaigning for his buddy Trump . Some of the decisions tonight were so dumb I don't know what were they thinking . Trump doesn't plan on losing I was surprised that we scored 31 points. Lucky home runs made that score, aside from big plays our Offense did zip, defense wasn't much better. Damn - five days - didn't even think of it that way. Definitely a record then I lost hope after the first half at Baltimore. Here's Sully: http://bills.buffalonews.com/2016/09/15/fitz-carves-bills-gets-redemption/ Can't even argue. Even though he is an !@#$, he may be right about the bills all along; how bad is that? That is bad, sad but true.
Boatdrinks Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Not soon enough... I still have a difficult time understanding why he didn't get the boot after what he did to last years defense. A. Only one season , a mediocre not terrible record. B. The owners knew they were signing a coach that ran a completely different defensive system that would require an adjustment and some different personnel That said, the team is a mess. The QB is not good enough, the O line is suspect. Rex inexplicably looked terrified to blitz Ryan Fitzpatrick . A QB known to turn the ball over when pressured. A 3 man rush on 3rd an 9 said it all. Rex blew this game , at least defensively.
Nitro Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 I was a fan of Chan but not as a head coach. Wade is the same. Rex choice of OC/DC have left me wanting.
1st Ammendment NoMas Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 As soon as this assclown was hired, I said we were going down the shitter. He was on a mission to destroy any respectability we had built back in Buffalo after a long, dry run. We were ready to turn the corner and along comes Slick with his schtick. And the Petula's bought it. My Jets fans friends laughed and told me it was our turn to suck and boy were they right. Get rid of this wanker now and let's start the rebuild.

Look Mrs Ryan, I appreciate where you are coming from but when was the last time Rexy had a winning season? Have you noticed a downward trend every year and that his teams get worse as he gains more control over draft picks( majority for his defense). Time for a divorce ASAP is what I say... A.
