Thurmal34 Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Or am I just really bad at watching football? I'll admit, I had many canned personalities tonight, but to my mind, their slot guy waxed him early, which made him shy later vs Marshall. Pay the guy? I dunno.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 He was terrible and made no plays that I can remember.
Big Blitz Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Cost himself millions. Sent from my SM-G928V using Tapatalk
Coach Tuesday Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Gilmore is a disaster. He's not worth the money. Remind me why they fired Donnie Henderson?
K D Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 He made a lot of money though. He will turn it around and some dumb team will give him a big contract
Fan in Chicago Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Or am I just really bad at watching football? I'll admit, I had many canned personalities tonight, but to my mind, their slot guy waxed him early, which made him shy later vs Marshall. Pay the guy? I dunno. Yes he looked bad today but today was a rare bad day for him. To add to it, there was zero pressure on Fitz. Gilmore is still a pretty good corner, maybe not top 5 though
NoSaint Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 For the islands they were on, with the lack of rush they were helped with, and the quality of throws made.... Gilmore didn't play a good game, but truly a bad corner would've looked much worse.
4merper4mer Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 All 22 won't exactly be kind to him but will show he had to do a lot with no help and those back shoulder throws often came on plays where he had to be aware of the bomb because guessing wrong = 6. Rex could make anyone look bad, he does not understand 2016. He will be a good commentary guy.
Maury Ballstein Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Trade him for Leo. Gilmore and Darby both were exposed all night Decker is their daddy.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Darby made a few plays out there, but he was roasted on several occasions too.
clearwater cadet Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 (edited) Please remind me how he is elite again Edited September 16, 2016 by clearwater cadet
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Gilmore is a pile inspector. And, I might add, an imposter.
John from Riverside Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 One of the smart things this team did was wait to pay Gilmore
Blokestradamus Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 One bad game does not a career make.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 One bad game does not a career make. He'd better have a short memory with the Arizona WRs looming in ten days.
GunnerBill Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 He was bad. Darby was bad also. Rex's scheme sucks very, very, very badly.
NoSaint Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 All 22 won't exactly be kind to him but will show he had to do a lot with no help and those back shoulder throws often came on plays where he had to be aware of the bomb because guessing wrong = 6. Rex could make anyone look bad, he does not understand 2016. He will be a good commentary guy. Yup. No help up front, none behind, pro bowl receivers and a heady vet qb that's having a good with his ball placement? Gilmore didn't shine but I hope y'all watch some truly bad CB play this Sunday. Saints without breaux will be a good example.
4merper4mer Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Darby made a few plays out there, but he was roasted on several occasions too. In this scheme against a 2016 offense you could have Ed Reed, Revis in his prime, Ronnie Lott, and Sherman back there. It doesn't matter. They got confused on a bunch of plays and it was easy to see.
