bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Rhetorical question: on 3rd and forever why don't teams throw the bomb every time? A pick = punt, penalty = 1st down and a completion = TD. If it is incomplete you punt from 5 yards behind where the draw would be.its better to,give up and than punt. Stupid from my view I agree throw the damn thing way down field
Reks Ryan Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Rhetorical question: on 3rd and forever why don't teams throw the bomb every time? A pick = punt, penalty = 1st down and a completion = TD. If it is incomplete you punt from 5 yards behind where the draw would be.Because Darby and Gilmore will be called for a penalty or give up a long completion
John in Jax Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 If anyone seriously thinks that Cowher wouldn't be loads better than the Ryan bros., you don't know football....at all. The current coaching lineup...top to bottom....is a joke..
Not at the table Karlos Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 (edited) All I know is Gilmore is making it hard for us to pay him the vet minimum. He looks terrible. Wrong thread or whatever but he looks terrible. Edited September 16, 2016 by Not at the table Karlos
Marv's Neighbor Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Bill ripping on Rex to calm down. As bill spits all over Deion Daffy Duck imitation?
Big Turk Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 we could only be so lucky...his teams won
BuffaloFan68 Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Rex getting torched week in & week out - we should have just promoted Jim Schwartz.
4merper4mer Posted September 16, 2016 Author Posted September 16, 2016 Oh be quiet. Â I'm not saying I want Cowher. I don't. He wants the job and was openly lobbying for it in a way obvious to a discerning ear. I find that unprofessional. Rex clearly is ill equipped to coach after 2016 an Cowher sees that. Not sure who it should be but not Rex and not Cowher.
H2o Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Wayne Fontes wants the job too.Does he come with the 1998 version of Barry Sanders?
beerme1 Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Yes he does   games passed him by....its over Bill   Cowher had his time but elected to stay in the studio.   Just give it to him!
ganesh Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Wayne Fontes wants the job too. And so does Dick Jauron....At least Jauron was consistently 7-9
Special K Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 And so does Dick Jauron....At least Jauron was consistently 7-9 Â Jauron's pitch for the job: Â If your team has three wins, I can get you seven wins........If you want eleven wins, I can get you seven wins.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Bill ripping on Rex to calm down. As bill spits all over Deion  Deion deserves it, for being annoying Rex getting torched week in & week out - we should have just promoted Jim Schwartz.  Did he get an interview? If So wonder what they didn't like?
Wagon Circler Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016  Deion deserves it, for being annoying  Did he get an interview? If So wonder what they didn't like? What they didn't like was his lack of success in Detroit.
John from Riverside Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 If we DO go a different direction at coach.....I want young talent.....young talent that actually is one step ahead of the NFL treads.....not old guys
baskingridgebillsfan Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Wayne Fontes wants the job too. rip
Kirby Jackson Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 (edited) I have no interest in Cowher at all. It's a totally different game than when he was successful. Josh McDaniels is my guy Edited September 17, 2016 by Kirby Jackson
baskingridgebillsfan Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Cowher is a delegator. He had a great defensive coaching staff. and decent offensive coordinators. He would be fine as a head coach. That said Can't imagine him wanting to coach or anyone wanting to hire him .
