Head Coaching Candidates

Let's keep changing coaches/staffs every other year. How has that worked out?

Let's not try to look for stability.

Let's not look for anything to develop.

What was Marv's record his first couple of years?- a losing record I believe. Should have fired him too!

None of the other 13 teams who lost put up 160 yards and 7 points to a lousy ravens team.

I think they're probably a playoff contender. AFC is kind of weak.

Off the top of my head, 5 of these make it. A lot can and will happen as the season goes on.

NE, KC, OAK, NYJ, DEN, PIT, BALT, CIN, and yes even BUF

Then someone makes it from the South.

Stability under Rex will resemble stability under Kim Jung Un.

14 NFL teams are 1-0. 14 teams are 0-1. I wonder how many of the 0-1 teams have threads like this already on their "fan" sites?

Do you all work for WGR or TBN?

Thank you for this.

Sometimes I wonder if Bills fanbase excessive negativity is part of the teams problems.

There is a lot of pent up frustration after so many years of mediocrity. None of it should spill over into how the team operates or thinks. I don't believe it does based upon previous public commentary from Terry Pegula.

right after the HC change. We should change all operation promotional TV's in the Bills store to play both straight and gay porn. Then, we should burn all jerseys with players names on them and only sell nameless jerseys. I feel we should not wave Bills flags because its offensive to people who also suck in life....

Yea and Pete Carroll was twice an NFL failure until he got another shot. Belichick was a terrible head coach until he got a second chance. Say what you will about McDaniels but he knows how to run a passing attack in the current NFL climate.

Belichick was actually building a strong club in Cleveland before they moved to Baltimore... Might want to look into that... And look at all the talent he had coaching with him... WOW

1 - Brandon needs to go yesterday... even before whaley or rex. He's part of that toxic ralph regime that was all about money.

2 - Good luck... qualified candidates aren't unemployed.

3 - Tough to find. Coaches in the NFL are measured on championship success, not innovation. If you won one, you can keep getting jobs. They also have to want to coach in buffalo, which is a problem.

4 - There isn't a ton of value in this. In the NFL where only portions of contracts are guaranteed, teams would rather keep their picks and bid on free agents.

5 - I believe in this mantra mostly because most of the teams who are good year in, and year out did not bottom out/tank.

6 - We just drafted a QB project. We do need someone to suit up next year - this isn't something we can readily address right off the bat. TT will probably be back like it or not.

I'd say give Rex another year TBH. he's coached us for 17 games.

So Russ Brandon needs to go ASAP because he was part of the old regime??? What about my season ticket rep, does she need to go??? The usher at the entrance to my section???? You provided no opinions other than being part of the old regime.... He currently has no football capacity- he's back to just the business side of the house

And Carroll never had a losing season in NE and took them to the playoffs 2 out of 3 years.

BUT....we have continuity!! i do not remember who screamed it. the ryan brothers make us sadly..all new and improved keystone cops. it is just sad how we continue to flounder. we are basically a junior varsity team. we need a coach that will make EVERY roster spot an open challenge a la jimmy johnson or parcells.

After one game- comments like this make me wonder if you are a JV fan.... Let's see a few games... Let's see what this team looks like week 5, when we start to get pieces back...

i think even bill cowher specifically called out rex as having a hot seat. i dont expect the whole season to go like this, but i dont think its CRAZY to think rex is on a short leash.

Short leash, very possible- on his way out the door is too crazy.... Thanks- too many people are complaining about never having any continuity, but 17 games in call for the head coach to be fired.... Smh....

Or people are just not knowledgable about the stuff they spew into a thread, lol... I think you may have said it better
