Pine Barrens Mafia Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Not according to the latest from Rappaport. Will manage the pain during the season. break out the hash brownies!
Webster Guy Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 This article is meaningless crap. Sammy was getting open all day with zero limp. If its hurting him that much it would show up in his cuts, burst etc. They smartly babied the foot all preseason (and unfortunately most of the team) this is his first real test and its a little sore--what a shocker. DOOOMED. The kid is in his early twenties, he will be fine. In 3 days he will be burning Revis again like last year

Big Turk Posted September 12, 2016 Author Posted September 12, 2016 (edited) Or maybe not so quick...Ian Rapopprt #Bills WR Sammy Watkins will likely have to play through pain this year. Nothing surgically to do. #Bills dont plan on shutting him down Edited September 12, 2016 by matter2003
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 I am waiting for the bring back rusty jones thread.
billsfan89 Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Maybe they do consider shutting him down for a 3-4 week period. He did possibly rush to come back from injury, so maybe he just needs a month to fully recover? I think Sammy is the second most important player on the team so not having him would be a huge blow. Maybe you lose him for a month to preserve him for the rest of the season? But if the team is 0-5 or 1-4 by the time he comes back there might not be much of a season left.
quinnearlysghost88 Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 don't let the first weeks fool you: http://961joyfm.com/files/2011/09/bilde.jpg https://nbcprofootballtalk.files.wordpress.com/2015/02/adams.jpg

HalftimeAdjustment Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 I am waiting for the bring back rusty jones thread. Rusty Jones... the trainer who strengthens bones?
1st Ammendment NoMas Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Don't know why the tank thread was closed, but if there is any question on Sammy they will shut him down. Rex and Whaley get a pass, and another year. All the more reason we need to tank, and start dealing guys right now. Kyle, Richie, Gilmore...all gone for picks next year if they are gettable. Would throw Marcell and Glenn in the mix, but think their bonuses would prevent that from happening. These idiots don't get another pass. If the Pats can compete without Brady and Gronk, and we can't, it's time to clean house.
Freddie's Dead Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 I am waiting for the bring back rusty jones thread. Don't get me started. SCREW YOU MIKE MULARKEY!!
boyst Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 (edited) Joe Reporter @TwitterIsWhiteNoise 53s Bills fans bitching, hurt over tiny things posted with no credence to autheticate anything as factual after a loss, subsequently Goodwin out 6 weeks. Edited September 12, 2016 by Boyst62
NoSaint Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 These idiots don't get another pass. If the Pats can compete without Brady and Gronk, and we can't, it's time to clean house. its one game. anyone can compete with anyone randomly for one game. lets see what the longer window holds.
Freddie's Dead Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Rusty Jones... the trainer who strengthens bones? The Bills being one of the most injured teams in the NFL began the year after Mularkey fired Rusty. Rusty was a witch when it came to training and nutrition. Dude was at least a decade ahead of the curve.

I'll concur here. It's a top to bottom organization and coaching thing more than a player thing. Except at QB. Don't be fooled by the TT contract. It just bumps his pay up to realistic starting QB pay. But if he doesn't show franchise QB traits this season he's gone next year too. its one game. anyone can compete with anyone randomly for one game. lets see what the longer window holds. Yes , one game that the staff had all summer to devise a game plan for . They did it brilliantly. Similarly, the Bills had all summer to dedicate to opening day vs the Ravens. How did that game plan look by comparison ?

How did that game plan look by comparison ? more time doesnt always mean better. its easy to out think yourself, or for the other team to surprise you with looks, or for a player to just not have the day you expected or.....
