Wayne Cubed Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 I believe the detail "not sure" is what you overlooked That said, if the reports of "nothing to see hear" were correct, I'm not sure why he'd be sat I didn't overlook it. This source says "not sure the docs are going to let him...", are they suggesting that the docs are undecided on whether to let him play him or not? It just seems odd that they wouldn't have made up their mind at this point. Usually if a player is iffy, it's because they want to test it. From all we know, his foot is fine, it's a pain management issue... so what's there to decide at this point?

Wayne Cubed Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 i agree - the reports seem contradictory It just seems like that quote is more of the opinion of the source, not that the doctors are undecided. If that's the case, and this person is going to remain anonymous, what's the point in quoting that?

Or debating on the risk of reinjury.

Or debating on the risk of reinjury.m Could be that, the quote just came across to me as it was the opinion of the source... like an off comment. "Sammy really wants to play but man idk if the docs will let him..". If you get what I mean. Without knowing the source, I'm not sure a quote like that means much.
K D Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 Sammy is the worst source on Sammy I've ever seen

Also agreed (I was throwing out a reason from the docs side that they'd be unsure, but it could be the source not being looped in causing his uncertainty)
BuffaloBaumer Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 Play him, if he dies.........he dies
Maury Ballstein Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 Good thing they got some insurance in the offseason... Will Fuller instead of the infirmary could have been nice.
2020 Our Year For Sure Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 NFL Live, Trey Wingo just said Watkins will play. Reporter on scene said they'll test it to figure out how much.
KD in CA Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 Play him, if he dies.........he dies Throw the damn towel!!

Cugalabanza Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 Update: the medical staff says Sammy will be fine as long as Tyrod doesn't throw the ball more than 8 yards beyond the line of scrimmage. In other words, he's full go!
Hapless Bills Fan Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 If the docs won't let him play, why not just declare him inactive, like Glenn? The inactives get announced at 7 pm I believe
K D Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 This makes no sense. They said there's no injury it's just dealing with the pain now. What would be their basis for not letting him play?
YoloinOhio Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 (edited) @kimjonessports Multiple sources say Sammy will play. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-videos/0ap3000000703028/All-indications-are-that-Sammy-Watkins-will-play-on-Thursday Edited September 15, 2016 by YoloinOhio
RyanC883 Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 I benched him in fantasy for Dorsett. This means that Sammy will put up 150 yards and 1 TD.
#34fan Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 meh.... Go ahead and shut him down for a couple weeks... -We're not beating AZ at their house.... Let Sammykins heal up..
