LabattBlue Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 It seems like every WR is now a sr, jr, II, III, IV or the V. I can't think of the player on Sunday who had a "V" on his jersey. I guess the only part that is really annoying, is the announcers constantly referring to them by their new found suffix. Do I really need to know that is is Steve Smith "SR", every time he has to be mentioned. Unless there is a Steve Smith Jr, III, IV etc..., why the need to even use the suffix.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 I'm a III, and I don't even use it on official paperwork.

Both Flacco and TT had a "V" on their jerseys. I'll wait.... Edited September 12, 2016 by The Wiz

I would guess they are all Key & Peele fans.
boyst Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 I hate those !@#$s using vowels on their name tag. Pompous dicks.
LabattBlue Posted September 12, 2016 Author Posted September 12, 2016 You actually care about this? No. I posted it just to annoy you.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 No. I posted it just to annoy you. It didn't work.
eSJayDee Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Geez, I saw a few guys w/ a "C" on their jersey. Can you imagine tracking your geneology so far back that you know you're the 100th in line w/ that name?
Jauronimo Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Seriously. What is up with these players procreating? Its like they have some biological compulsion to reproduce and continue their lineage. Its bizarre, if you ask me.
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 I think they should add academic credentials to the name plate, like folks on LinkedIn. Ph.D. M.s, Mba. BA, etc...
stevewin Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 I thought one of the best comments from either the game thread or shoutbox during the game yesterday was something to the effect that all the extra letters on Robey's jersey must be weighing/slowing him down
Fadingpain Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Technically, no on ever should be referred to as a "SR." It doesn't work that way. You don't distinguish the father by calling him senior; you distinguish the son by calling him junior.

Some of my best work, if I do say so myself.
