BringBackFergy Posted September 13, 2016 Author Posted September 13, 2016 Did I just read that the Ravens "got what they needed whenever they needed it?" It's gonna be a LONG season in these parts. Who said that?
K-9 Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Who said that? I don't want to name names, but I'm sure you can guess. If not, go back to page one. It won't take you 20 years to find the post in question.

thurst44 Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 There's no moral victories in the NFL. If you think the Bills played good defense or even great defense, so what. The Bills still lost the game. The Ravens played better "D" than the Bills. Gave up one td and 160 total yards. So sick of this logic. Yes, there's no "moral victories" but there are things you can build on, and anyone who can't see that it's more hopeful for the weeks ahead when the defense gave up 13 pts and got 4 sacks then when a team was run all over and blown out and got no pressure on the quarterback just wants to B word and moan. It was one game. On Thursday, the defense could be awful, but I have a bit more hope for it to be good now. Similarly on Thursday, TT could make adjustments, Sammy plays through the pain, Felton gets better blocks, and the worries about the offense are lessened.

Over 29 years of fanhood Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Re: the op... No worries... They are coming now
Virgil Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Thanks for getting this started for us. Come to find out, the Ravens weren't that great on offense afterall.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 They're headed here so far tonight.
DCBongo Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Our heralded secondary seems rather pedestrian.
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Wow... This team is 4-12 at best
dave mcbride Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 This defensive scheme completely sucks.
Wayne Cubed Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Well I won't be defending the defense this week. Pathetic.
4merper4mer Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 This defensive scheme completely sucks. To be fair, it was great in 1985
MDH Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Re: the op... No worries... They are coming now They're not coming, this is now the de facto bad D thread.
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 They're not coming, this is now the de facto bad D thread. The good news is both the D and O suck. So there is s lot to talk about
Nuncha Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Rex & Rob made Fitz look like Joe Montana. Oh N Two...
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Rex & Rob made Fitz look like Joe Montana. Oh N Two... genius. Thanks for getting this started for us. Come to find out, the Ravens weren't that great on offense afterall. Op should change this to... Where's all the threads about how awesome Wrecks d is?
nucci Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Our heralded secondary seems rather pedestrian. left alone in man coverage all night will do that to the best of them...no safety help and no changes the whole game. Ridiculous.
DirtDart Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Looks like we kept the home team Ravens to one TD and two FG's. Not bad. So I'd say this was a close one and we lost. That's the way it goes. On to the Jets. Nothing has to be posted, stats speak for themselves.
