BringBackFergy Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Looks like we kept the home team Ravens to one TD and two FG's. Not bad. So I'd say this was a close one and we lost. That's the way it goes. On to the Jets.
snafu Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Yeah, the way our offense played, we should lose 3-0 on Thursday.
Guest K-GunJimKelly12 Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Yea too bad you have to play offense too. You, like Rex, sound like if you just play good defense that there is nothing you can do. The fact that we didn't throw the ball down field once all game is unforgivable. Look at the game with 5 minutes left. We have one timeout and the Ravens have all 3, while we are getting delay of game penalties. Totally out coached.
CodeMonkey Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 The ravens gameplan seemed very conservative like they knew the Bills weren't going to score much. Plus the ravens had a lot of stupid penalties in the first half that killed drives. The Bills D looked better than the O, but that isn't saying anything.
John from Riverside Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Much improved over last year but There were actually opportunities for turnovers we did not get....I firmly believe with Darby's speed that into he dropped would have been a TD we only lost by 6
Blokestradamus Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Fundamentally, better than last year. Still some minor things to fix with tackling. Outside of the Wallace TD, coverage wasn't bad.

But it wasn't.
BringBackFergy Posted September 11, 2016 Author Posted September 11, 2016 Ummm, thus far no one has made a case for why Rex should be fired. Try again.
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 (edited) Flacco had a 99.9 passer rating today. The defense was dissected easily by him and had all day to pass numerous times. Mike Wallace covered by Dookie Williams it the mismatch of the day. Aside from Jerry Hughes playing his tail off this defense came up small just like last season. Just wait until this defense plays a half way talented offense. It's going to be hard to see Edited September 11, 2016 by over 20 years of fanhood

EmotionallyUnstable Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 If you hold teams to 13 points, you should win every game. This one falls on Tyrod and company in my opinion
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 One TD? Dissected?? Try again. 99.9 passer rating is dissected. 23/34 for 258 is dissected. The Ravens got whatever they need when the needed it. Easily moved the chains to burn the clock. Keep telling yourself this is a great defense though.

stevewin Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 The defense did enough to win, but certainly di nothing dominant and did nothing to get you excited for them being on the field. Baltimore's D showed more flashes of what makes an elite defense - sure tackling, fast, strong and getting after people
vorpma Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 The bad threads this week are focused on the bad offense. /dev/null Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 He had one big play. A 66 yard TD. 22-33 for 192 is hardly dissecting a defense. And we had one big play that lead to our TD. Take those away and it's a 6-3 loss

Wayne Cubed Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 And we had one big play that lead to our TD. Take those away and it's a 6-3 loss True. What a horriblely boring game.
1st Ammendment NoMas Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 At critical times, the defense did not get it done. Whether it was missed tackles, dropped interceptions, blown coverage, or just getting blown off the ball and pushed backwards, this defense did not look elite. It didn't even look top 10. The Ravens will finish somewhere from 18th-24th in offense this year. Our D looks like it could fall in the same numbers. Not great. With that being said, our offense was unforgivable. What a shitfest!
