John from Riverside Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 And wait until Thursday. Bowles and his double A gappers. It will only get worse. Yeah like we have never beat that team before...... Whoops And that shouldn't scare a team with a QB who runs like an elusive RB. He should be able to GASH teams that blitz him. You design a gameplan to make teams PAY for blitzing and then they stop. THis....jesus this
Kirby Jackson Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 To me this game is so simple, the offensive game plan was terrible. They spent the first half trying to play within 5 yards of the LOS. I have no idea why. The Bills run the ball and go up top. The second part didn't happen th entire day. You can't walk into the game and not try to do what you do best. That's 100% on Roman.

26CornerBlitz Posted September 11, 2016 Author Posted September 11, 2016 @MatthewFairburn Tyrod Taylor on why he didn't pass the ball deep more often: "Taking what the defense gives me."
KellyToTasker Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 I agree Kirby. It's like they were trying to withhold part of next week's game plan (Thursday) because of the 4 day turn around.
Greybeard Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 I looked at this and said what does this have to do with anything. Then I got it. Thanks for the laugh.
bisonbrigade Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 They were rolling coverage on Sammy all day Does not matter if three guys are on Sammy, You need to chuck it deep to keep secondary honest.
mob16151 Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 @MatthewFairburn Tyrod Taylor on why he didn't pass the ball deep more often: "Taking what the defense gives me." All 111 yards of it.
bills7834 Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Because the QB is incapable of seeing them I'm not being sarcastic but were you at the game. I thought the tv coverage was horrible and I'm trying to figure out how you saw that.
Greybeard Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 @MatthewFairburn Tyrod Taylor on why he didn't pass the ball deep more often: "Taking what the defense gives me." He was very truthful in this. But it is a little more accurate if he said "taking what I saw."

He periodically out thinks himself. He's a good coordinator but sometimes just gets in his own way. Hopefully gets back on track next week.

Getting beat is one thing, but not playing your game is another. They should have played their game, win or lose.
Green Lightning Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Short story, Tyrod was horrible today, tentative and confused. Missing badly on short passes to open receives. Maybe they didn't play him enough in the preseason, or maybe we're seeing his ceiling. I hate to agree with Sullivan, but it's the same old Bills, pi**ing away winnable games.
Dan Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 @MatthewFairburn Tyrod Taylor on why he didn't pass the ball deep more often: "Taking what the defense gives me." Why do all Bills QBs play so scared and timid? I don't really care what the game plan is... at some point the QB has to throw the damn ball. Its beyond old watching every team in the league play football, while the Bills come out week after week and whine because the other team did so something they weren't ready for.
Protocal69 Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 @MatthewFairburn Tyrod Taylor on why he didn't pass the ball deep more often: "Taking what the defense gives me." If that is the case then we are going 0-16

Maybe he just played a bad game. It happens to mid tier guys sometimes.
Dr.Sack Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 (edited) No creativity. Not enough motion, and Taylor was never rolled out. Bills offense had 5 three and outs. Can't win playing that way. Maybe Rex should try to scrap punting and play a 4 down offense. Edited September 11, 2016 by Dr.Sack
