CountDorkula Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 What Roman SHOULD have done was not force Tyrod to be a pure pocket passer Tyrod Tayllor is not a pure pocket passer....his passing game picks up when he gets mobile Tyrod was crap both from the pocket and on the run. This is on him.
Hardcore Bills Fan Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Tyrod was crap both from the pocket and on the run. This is on him. oh really? is that why the Bills forced it to McCoy all day?
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 oh really? is that why the Bills forced it to McCoy all day? Two words: check down
Kirby Jackson Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Roman was so, so bad. His game plan was disgusting. The fact that they didn't look to go over the top once is appalling. This game is on Greg Roman.
Thirty Year Fan Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 I would like to know how many times we ran 3 or 4-WR sets. Tough to go deep and get single coverage when you are just running 2-man routes. The O line was swiss cheese today , on the few plays TT Had time he just will not pull the trigger unless the receiver has a step on the DB.
Big Turk Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 They were rolling coverage on Sammy all day I don't care if they Put the entire secondary on him...throw it up like you did against KC
chef4131 Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 not sure did Roman call for passes down the field and TT didn't throw the ball? were the plays called and WRs not open??

John from Riverside Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Tyrod was crap both from the pocket and on the run. This is on him. WHEN was Tyrod on the run? Our only TD came from a play when he was on the run
Big Gun Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 And you would know this how.... you dont and you do?

CommonCents Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 The Ravens were terrible against the pass last season, they should have designed today's offense to exploit this. Do you believe that the game plan was to hop around in the pocket and throw behind the LOS to Shady for the first 20 minutes or so of the game? I'd like to some target/reception numbers for the first 20-25 minutes, not that it drastically improved afterwards but if I couched it I'd say Shady was 70> of the targets and 100% of those were under 5 yards.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 The O line was swiss cheese today , on the few plays TT Had time he just will not pull the trigger unless the receiver has a step on the DB. I didn't think the oline was too bad. RB blitz pick up though was pretty dreadful. I didn't think the Ravens D dictated what we did. Seemed like we came in with a mindset that we were going to go 2-TE and run lots. Gotta spread things out more than 1 or 2 times when you have a QB who can throw a nice bomb.

OhDozeBills Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Absolutely absurd not to take a few deep shots. Ravens took a few and it won them the game. Really disappointed in Tyrod, Roman, and rest of offense today, they cost us the game.
John from Riverside Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 and you do? We can do this all day

Mostly intermediate to short throws with many inaccurate attempts by Tyrod.
GG Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Definitely shared blame between Roman & Taylor. Whether by design or execution, those two lost the game today.

Really disappointed in Tyrod, Roman, and rest of offense today, they cost us the game. The difference in the game was their big play to Wallace. After so much success with deep passes last season by Tyrod, how do you not even try?
