26CornerBlitz Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 (edited) The Bills challenged the Ravens' secondary today exactly zero times. I need to know why! One deep pass on a broken play to Clay. That was it! Edited September 11, 2016 by 26CornerBlitz
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Because the QB is incapable of seeing them
Jamie Nails Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 They were rolling coverage on Sammy all day
MattM Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 I wondered the same thing--didn't see Marquise at al.. Are they afraid to take off his bubble wrap?
Dorkington Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Had Goodwin out there multiple times, and didn't take a shot. So weird.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 11, 2016 Author Posted September 11, 2016 Because the QB is incapable of seeing them Not true. That was a strength last season.
Big Gun Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Because the QB is incapable of seeing them yup every play has guys going long mid and short and TT picks to go short, not on roman
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 I would like to know how many times we ran 3 or 4-WR sets. Tough to go deep and get single coverage when you are just running 2-man routes.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 11, 2016 Author Posted September 11, 2016 They were rolling coverage on Sammy all day I get that but.....Goodwin? Woods?
John from Riverside Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Because the QB is incapable of seeing them Yes there is a precedent for that but....except there is not
PromoTheRobot Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 I think the plan was to run Shady more than pass. That Ravens D overwhelmed us.

That was it! Pass rush. Tyrod had all day to throw most of last year........teams know that and they are attacking/blitzing and taking away the run while they harass Taylor and deny him the time to throw deep. Probably going to have to roll Taylor out of the pocket by design. Edited September 11, 2016 by #BADOL
John from Riverside Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 yup every play has guys going long mid and short and TT picks to go short, not on roman And you would know this how.... you dont
PromoTheRobot Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 yup every play has guys going long mid and short and TT picks to go short, not on roman Hard to look down field running for your life.
CountDorkula Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 They were rolling coverage on Sammy all dayB.S. go look at the top WR today. All with over 100 yards. Either the QB sucked or the coordinator is a scared POS. I'm gona go with both.
John from Riverside Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Pass rush. Probably going to have to roll Taylor out of the pocket by design. What Roman SHOULD have done was not force Tyrod to be a pure pocket passer Tyrod Tayllor is not a pure pocket passer....his passing game picks up when he gets mobile
Best Player Available Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Had Goodwin out there multiple times, and didn't take a shot. So weird. Didn't want to risk an injury so early in the season?
PromoTheRobot Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 What Roman SHOULD have done was not force Tyrod to be a pure pocket passer Tyrod Tayllor is not a pure pocket passer....his passing game picks up when he gets mobile They would have killed Tyrod if he ran a lot today.
Hardcore Bills Fan Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Because the QB is incapable of seeing them Really, how so when every call is to McCoy
Nihilarian Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 TT was doing his version of Trent Edwards today with all the dump offs to the RB's. This tells me not much was open downfield. Guess the Bills did miss Hogan today... It looks like the offense was very rusty and probably because they didn't play much in pre season. Not ready to panic just yet!
