 for reality checks

I was sitting next to a guy that looked like Sammy Watkins. All game he would just point and say "there" at an open Bills receiver.

We were in the end zone where the Ravens scored their first TD.

I thought Tyrod looked very mediocre today.

His vision of the field was bad, he still dances with nervous feet before throwing, he locks onto 1 side of the field, he delays his throws until he sees an obvious open receiver and even then holds onto the ball too long until he is 150% sure it's a good idea to throw, and so on.

Either this is an aberration and he'll bounce back or we are going to have trouble winning 7 games.

We'll found out in the games ahead.

Plus, he was obiivious to where the blitz was coming and failed to call audibles when he had to.

I'm watching all these other games where QBs are making throws

That's your competition.

Tyrod is a lottery ticket QB. Every so often he will catch you with a deep ball or a run but mostly he's not dangerous.

O-line was bad in pass protection, besides Watkins, the Bills have no receivers that scare other defenses, and Taylor was shell shocked today as he showed no poise and looked like a rookie out there. It's clear Baltimore had Taylor's number and he did not know how to respond.

I thought that when he had time in the pocket he was pretty good. The offensive line was brutal today. Tyrod was not accurate on some running throws. Overall the offense lacked rhythm the entire game minus one drive. Not seeing a single deep ball attempt was odd.

Good news is that the entire afc east may go winless today.
