Best Player Available Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Hey, isn't that the "woman"'who wants to get so fat she can't move? Texas a-holes.
CountryCletus Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Tasteless, hopefully they will have s going out of business sale soon
Beef Jerky Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Hmm... I think it will always be "too early"
Pete Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 good publicity. I bet none of their other commercials received this much attention
Jon in Pasadena Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Wow. How stupid can you be? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AKN1Q5SjbeI
Flutie Flakes Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 good publicity. I bet none of their other commercials received this much attention You think so? Latest news reports make it sound like they are now in damage control mode and may close their doors for good. I always have thought that Memorial Day sales were in extremely poor taste, but this commercial takes the cake. Not to mention the announcers stupid smirk as she says "never forget".
Marv's Neighbor Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 good publicity. I bet none of their other commercials received this much attention There's good publicity and BAD publicity. Bad does not sell!
Beef Jerky Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 There's good publicity and BAD publicity. Bad does not sell! Bad only sells if you sit during the national anthem.

CountryCletus Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 You really need to be careful in today's oversensitive internet America. I don't think that a negative reaction to this commercial would be only for those "over sensative"

I don't get this one. What's wrong with it? So t-shirts or posters that depict the twin towers as they were are offensive? Am I missing something in this pic?

Am I missing something in this pic? I see nothing wrong with the remembrance of it- but that mattress commercial is too much
MDH Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 I laughed at the mattress add. Not because the content was funny in any shape, way or form, but because it - somehow, still - always amazes me how stupid people can be. How can one live in this country and not realize that this commercial would go over really, really poorly?
USMCBillsFan Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 I see nothing wrong with the remembrance of it- but that mattress commercial is too much I agree 100% on the commercial. What I don't get is the reaction to the Walmart display.

Flutie Flakes Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 I agree 100% on the commercial. What I don't get is the reaction to the Walmart display. I think that some people were upset that Walmart was using cans of soda for marketing purposes to portray the twin towers. Didn't bother me either, but they may have been better off simply displaying the cans of soda in the shape of an American flag with the sign above and leave the towers out.
Beef Jerky Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 I don't think that a negative reaction to this commercial would be only for those "over sensative" No the commercial was absolutely garbage but the soda display wasn't. No different then selling T-shirts.
