Andrew Son Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 The Sabres haven't played an important game since T Pegs took over. Are you kidding? I was on the edge of my seat for the tank
Offside Number 76 Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 The Sabres haven't played an important game since T Pegs took over. Yeah, those playoff games against the Flyers were meaningless.
Offside Number 76 Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 In any event, your nightmare is over. John Murphy is on to pitch softballs to Bills players and staff.
Jerry Jabber Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Well, there is also a break from football talk between 3 & 6pm You're right, Mike Schopp is on and that clown just babbles nonsense the whole time he's on air.
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Not a huge deal to me since they went to new format of Murph 12-3 which is entirely football. They have local programming all day unlike some markets. They talk Bills and NFL 6-10 and 12-9. When they used to have Rome on 12-3, going to hockey hotline prior to hockey season but at start of NFL season was annoying. Was it me or did Romes Schlick get old fast? Re the bills there just isn't much more to talk about until we really witness what they put out there.
Hardcore Bills Fan Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Was it me or did Romes Schlick get old fast? Re the bills there just isn't much more to talk about until we really witness what they put out there. Rome is terrible, especially when he tried to make up slang to sound cool
Andrew Son Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Rome is terrible, especially when he tried to make up slang to sound cool He has some great lettuce though
Hardcore Bills Fan Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 He has some great lettuce though he's only famous because of this...
Gordio Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Yeah, those playoff games against the Flyers were meaningless. Yeah they actually were, they didn't have a chance to win the Stanley Cup.
Jerry Jabber Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 (edited) he's only famous because of this... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3s8BZjcP3qU That was awesome! Here's Frank Caliendo's impression of Jim Rome. Edited September 8, 2016 by Jerry Jabber
PromoTheRobot Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 WGR needs to work on their format and their hosts. You ain't kidding. Freakin' amateur hour lately.
Captain Caveman Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Yeah they actually were, they didn't have a chance to win the Stanley Cup. So by your definition the Bills haven't had a meaningful game since about 1995.
Andrew Son Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 So by your definition the Bills haven't had a meaningful game since about 1995. Nah, 99 team would've took it all. NASTY D. !@#$ing forward lateral
Captain Caveman Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Rob Johnson would've been mangled in the next game and no way is Flutie winning a Super Bowl.
drinkTHEkoolaid Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Not a huge deal to me since they went to new format of Murph 12-3 which is entirely football. What's the problem
White Linen Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 I think that more than 4x as many WNYers watch the football game vs. the hockey game. Why aren't you outraged they don't cover international soccer?
Captain Caveman Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Why aren't you outraged they don't cover international soccer? Do you really think international soccer is more popular in WNY than football or hockey?
26CornerBlitz Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 @SalSports Entercom officially announces new long term agreement with Pegula Sports and Entertainment to continue airing Bills and Sabres play by play
TheFunPolice Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 This is going to be a fun season for the Sabres and Bills, and it's all local, all day! The Hockey Hotline guys earn every dollar trying to fill that time all summer!
Kirby Jackson Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Do you really think international soccer is more popular in WNY than football or hockey? This pretty much explains it. To be clear I have zero issue with what they cover. I was taking issue with Howard Simon deciding what to watch. You are at the mercy of the rest of the group. If 4x the people are going to be watching the football game, you better be up to speed on what happened.
