dwight in philly Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 Coleman resides in Little Rock, Arkansas and is a sixth-generation family operator of Hiland Dairy. Outside of officiating, Coleman serves on many local boards and associations including the Little Rock Boys and Girls Club and Greater Little Rock YMCA. Coleman is a former president of the Arkansas Dairy Products Association and Major Sports Association of the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce. Coleman was inducted into the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame on February 23, 2009, joining his father, Buddy Coleman, a 1994 inductee. why doesnt he tend to all that and give us all a break..
Juice_32 Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 I have a neighbor named Walt. He's an ok guy but I still hate him, just because of his name. Walt Coleman is the WORST.
cage Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 Don't know their names, so that's a plus. Not Triplette, also a plus. Not Hochuli,... so that's two plus's
NewEra Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 We need the crew from last week every week. Very fair I felt No doubt

Estelle Getty Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 Yup. I was just thinking how this was the most excited I've been for a Bills game in years. But now back to reality. Go get um Walt!
2020 Our Year For Sure Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 The Bills will need to play smart and possibly overcome some adversity in this one. Just have a feeling the League would like to see the Rams win in just their 2nd home game of the year. It would help to build that fanbase in a market they've been trying to tap for years. Have a feeling iffy calls may go the Rams way. Not saying the game will be rigged, only that a few calls or no calls that went our way last week, might not go our way this week and if so, the Bills will have to overcome that. The way to make sure that doesn't happen is to come out of the gate fast and dominate early. Just a thought from the slightly conspiratorial view. Interesting thought, I'll be looking out for this. The league has been pushing the Rams hard.

Anybody know where to get statistics on this crew?
JM57 Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 (edited) Isn't Steratore the guy who's giving Hercule's a run for his money? Anybody know where to get statistics on this crew? It's a very experienced crew top to bottom, per Football Zebras. One member with 3 years, one with 11 years, Steratore and the rest with 14 or more. Steratore, though, is THE "Calvin Johnson rule" ref, making the call on the initial play by Megatron a few years back, and then also against Dez Bryant in the playoff game against Green Bay. So, Bills receivers, DO NOT LET GO OF THE BALL. Edited October 13, 2016 by JM57
r00tabaga Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 Staratore is really a good ref, BUT he also screwed is in Cincinnati when Stevie Johnson caught a pass on the winning drive that was overturned by Mean Gene. He is well known to be anti WR when it comes to the "catch rule". He is a solid NCAA bball ref as well. Generally his crew is not flag happy.

A quick Google search also notes that he was the ref for the MNF against the Patriots last year. The inadvertent whistle and running clock gaffes.
r00tabaga Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 Omg, I totally forgot about the Sammy catch and clock.

reddogblitz Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 Gene's also the guy who busted Tommy for under inflated balls in the payoff game.

section122 Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 Are these guys any good? I get a bad feeling about this face.... Same crew as week 1 and I read that Buffalo is 2-2 when he refs while the Fins are 1-0.
The Wiz Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 I'm sure we're getting Ed next week. Just seems like that time.
