Don't stop billievein Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 (edited) And another one bites the dust! Substance abuse violation Edited September 7, 2016 by Don't stop billievein
Coach Tuesday Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 This roster is out of control. Terry is going to clean house, I'm telling you.
4merper4mer Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 (edited) Sea trek Hendersonville? He got suspended for taking a small journey on a boat? Edited September 7, 2016 by 4merper4mer
Blokestradamus Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 (edited) In relation to his treatment for Chron's. Appeal in place. This isn't a pass/fail case, more than likely. Probably more about prior knowledge on the part of the NFL that any treatment would cause him to fail. Edited September 7, 2016 by Blokestradamus
Westside Madness Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 But is it Sea Trek: The Next Generation? On a more serious note, I am losing my pre-season high that I normally have until the end of September...
Wayne Cubed Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 (edited) It's related to his treatment for Crohns: Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter Bills' OT Seantrel Henderson's pending substance-abuse suspension is related to a treatment he received for his Crohn's disease. Edited September 7, 2016 by Wayne Cubed
Big Turk Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 That's BS...this was prescribed as medically necessary by a doctor for his Crohn's disease...that's a huge difference than someone hitting a few tokes on a bong...
Florida_BillsFan Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 This is related to the meds he was taking for treating Crohn's.....certainly the league will understand this and give him a pass. If not, the league is truly FUBAR when it comes to substance abuse policies.
nucci Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 That's BS...this was prescribed as medically necessary by a doctor for his Crohn's disease...that's a huge difference than someone hitting a few tokes on a bong... Exactly, ridiculous
Wayne Cubed Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 (edited) It'll be the steroids, my guess. Common for treating the inflammation for Crohns. EDIT: Nevermind, looks like it was marijuana. Ian Rapoport @RapSheet #Bills OT Seantrel Henderson tested positive for marijuana, source said, which can be used to help deal with pain for his Crohn's disease. NoSaint Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 well, i did worry about this a bit even though things had been quiet. i mentioned over the summer that he was still a risk not just medically but behavior and got some flack about him being fully reformed. it can be dicey when guys have extensive history, and just because they have brief periods without public incident -- you just dont know what to expect as an outsider (like we all are). between his behavior (already slid nearly out of the draft) and now health.... im not sure how long his leash is at this point. he better hope that the extra month to add weight/strength is a blessing and come back at 110%
Don't stop billievein Posted September 7, 2016 Author Posted September 7, 2016 Sea trek Hendersonville? He got suspended for taking a small journey on a boat? Damn autocorrect on my phone. I fixed it

NoSaint Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 It'll be the steroids, my guess. Common for treating the inflammation for Crohns. if its for not disclosing his medical treatments, its pretty stupid on his part. given his history with self medication, id venture its very possibly (probably) smoking again. This is related to the meds he was taking for treating Crohn's.....certainly the league will understand this and give him a pass. If not, the league is truly FUBAR when it comes to substance abuse policies. if hes not disclosing his medications, its his own fault....
Canadian Bills Fan Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 He should have checked with the NFL before taking the drugs Still BS though if they suspend him for taking something that was prescribed to him for an uncurable disease CBF
aristocrat Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 why wouldn't he disclose to league his treatment? he'll probably get a game still.
Acantha Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 He should have checked with the NFL before taking the drugs Still BS though if they suspend him for taking something that was prescribed to him for an uncurable disease CBF Maybe there's reports I haven't seen, but I haven't read anything that says it was prescribed, just "relating to the treatment". That could just as easily mean self medicating as it does prescribed.
