YoloinOhio Posted September 6, 2016 Author Posted September 6, 2016 what other player for player trades? or are you saying player for picks? http://www.patriots.com/team/transactions off the top of my head, Chandler Jones for Jonathan Cooper, Logan Mankins for Tim Wright
quinnearlysghost88 Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 off the top of my head, Chandler Jones for Jonathan Cooper, Logan Mankins for Tim Wright Yeah the way he positioned it, I thought I was missing a lot of Pats 1 for 1 trades. Mankins was two years ago. So two this year? That's not being afraid?
Nanker Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Wow. The Eagles had him for like 2 minutes before trying to trade him. Whales workin' the phones now, no doubt. Trade him for Brandon Tate. And the rights to Dri Archer.
BarleyNY Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 it might be funny but look what happened with Milloy, he was cut and the Pats went on to win it all that year. Bill is hiding something The Cheatriots are lined up to have a crap ton of cap space next season. Makes me think something is up with so many expiring contracts. I wonder if there will be some very notable retirements after the season?
YoloinOhio Posted September 6, 2016 Author Posted September 6, 2016 (edited) Chip Kelly's 2015 Eagles moves Sam Bradford (traded) DeMarco Murray (traded) Kiko Alonso (traded) Byron Maxwell (traded) Eric Rowe (traded) Nelson Agholor might want to rent instead of buy Edited September 6, 2016 by YoloinOhio
K-9 Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Rowe was on our board and I'm telling you if the Eagles didn't take him, I believe we would have. So glad they did and we ended up with Darby. GO BILLS!!!
yungmack Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Would be a good fit in Buffalo, Eagles and Bills love to make trades. Replace Groy. Would not be surprised if Buffalo is talking with them, not at all.
Blokestradamus Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 @LesBowen Whatever this unannounced #Eagles trade involving Eric Rowe is, my understanding is that Josh Kline no longer is involved in any way...
YoloinOhio Posted September 6, 2016 Author Posted September 6, 2016 @LesBowen Whatever this unannounced #Eagles trade involving Eric Rowe is, my understanding is that Josh Kline no longer is involved in any way... Weird stuff @adamschefter OL Josh Kline no longer will be included in trade sending CB Eric Rowe to Patriots. Kline remains Patriots property and could be released.
Blokestradamus Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 The Pats can't even pay people to take their crappy OL off their hands.
Buffalo_Stampede Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 2nd shady OL deal by Pats. I dont trust them.
3rdand12 Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Does it really matter? Patriots win the division easy with or without this trade. pffft. lazy opinion Scott. because it has been likely for too long does not make it true at all. i mean Boston could well collapse into a sink hole or something 2nd shady OL deal by Pats. I dont trust them. nor should you. ever.
YoloinOhio Posted September 7, 2016 Author Posted September 7, 2016 Isn't it a little late to be screwing around with your OL? Especially when starting a rookie QB you invested in like gold? @jasonlacanfora Eagles were shopping OL Josh Kline after landing him (before he reverted to Pats). Also shopping OL Josh Andrews and more.... Eagles also indicated willingness to other teams to potentially move C/G Stefan Wisniewski as well. Clearly looking to move OL

YoloinOhio Posted September 7, 2016 Author Posted September 7, 2016 @adamschefter Patriots are releasing OL Josh Kline, who initially was included in trade to Philly before his rights reverted back to NE, per source.
machine gun kelly Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 The Pats O-Line was bad by the end of last year. I'm a little surprised Belicheck would want to give any line and away, so he must not think a lot of Kline.
downunderbill Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 if a starting OL gets hurt and/or garraflo gets hurt they're going to be in trouble. Brady comkng back foor weeks in is a concern because he always starts rusty. IIT takes him two weeks to hit his groove Oooh me good English speak.
boyst Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 Oooh me good English speak.boooo Don't let the dingo east your baby
Coach Tuesday Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 If the Pats got Rowe for a conditional, future 4th and nothing more, it's theft. I don't understand what the Eagles are doing. Rebuilding is one thing - but they're getting rid of talented players who aren't even all that old or expensive.
PromoTheRobot Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 Does it really matter? Patriots win the division easy with or without this trade. Yeah, that's the thing, ain't it? They can make bad moves and still win year after year. The things that seem to hurt other teams magically have no effect on the Pats. Just realllllly lucky, I guess. Again, gotta give the Patriots props for not being afraid to make trades. They don't all work out but for whatever reason, most NFL GMs are afraid of making player-for-player trades. Not Belicheck.Like Alonzo for Shady?
