YoloinOhio Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 (edited) @adamschefter Eagles are trading CB Eric Rowe to Patriots for OL Josh Kline and a draft pick, league sources tell @MikeReiss and me. This sucks IMO. He's a big corner/safety who didn't really fit Schwartz D but sure as heck fits Pats. !@#$. Edited September 6, 2016 by YoloinOhio
YoloinOhio Posted September 6, 2016 Author Posted September 6, 2016 (edited) @mikereiss Eric Rowe (6-1, 205) was a 2015 second-round draft choice out of Utah. CB and safety versatility. Played 16 games (5 starts) last year. @pff_sam I would say the jury's still firmly out on Rowe @ CB. Did some good things last year and some bad. Allowed 51.7% of targets caught, but 3TDs @christrapasso Downside for #Patriots & positive for #Eagles: NE loses solid offensive line depth and a RD 4 pick for an unproven CB is somewhat expensive. YoloinOhio Posted September 6, 2016 Author Posted September 6, 2016 @rapsheet More details on the #Eagles/#Patriots trade: The 4th rounder in 18 can become a 3rd based on Eric Rowes playtime in 2016 or 2017
thebandit27 Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Eric Rowe is a good football player--I was never as high on him as some here (cough, K-9, cough), but he can play for sure.

Captain Hindsight Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 How often can the Pats* trade quality lineman and still have good o-line? Could come back to bite them the first few weeks with some one other than Marsha
YoloinOhio Posted September 6, 2016 Author Posted September 6, 2016 How often can the Pats* trade quality lineman and still have good o-line? Could come back to bite them the first few weeks with some one other than Marshado not question David Hitler!
boyst Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 How often can the Pats* trade quality lineman and still have good o-line? Could come back to bite them the first few weeks with some one other than Marshaif a starting OL gets hurt and/or garraflo gets hurt they're going to be in trouble. Brady comkng back foor weeks in is a concern because he always starts rusty. IIT takes him two weeks to hit his groove
YoloinOhio Posted September 6, 2016 Author Posted September 6, 2016 Oh @adamschefter New Eagles' OL Josh Kline might not be in Philly long -- or at all. Eagles already in deep discussions to trade Kline, sources tell ESPN.
MarkyMannn Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 How often can the Pats* trade quality lineman and still have good o-line? Could come back to bite them the first few weeks with some one other than Marsha League rules are against D-men coming near Brady. Anyone else is fair game
Hardcore Bills Fan Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Belichick is a genius!!! it might be funny but look what happened with Milloy, he was cut and the Pats went on to win it all that year. Bill is hiding something
RobRyanFan Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Oh @adamschefter New Eagles' OL Josh Kline might not be in Philly long -- or at all. Eagles already in deep discussions to trade Kline, sources tell ESPN. Wow. The Eagles had him for like 2 minutes before trying to trade him.
Best Player Available Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 League rules are against D-men coming near Brady. Anyone else is fair game Very true. A lot of people are unaware of this unusual league rule.

Coach Tuesday Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Again, gotta give the Patriots props for not being afraid to make trades. They don't all work out but for whatever reason, most NFL GMs are afraid of making player-for-player trades. Not Belicheck.
VanCity Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Would be a good fit in Buffalo, Eagles and Bills love to make trades. Replace Groy. Trade him for Brandon Tate.
