Blokestradamus Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 They could have kept him and spent the 2nd round pick on a better prospect at a position of need, no? He was also replaced by a rookie in 2013 preseason. Those were the circumstances that had him bouncing around the past several years. Everyone knows that I think Aguayo was a stupid acquisition in the 2nd round. Quite frankly, I'm not sure he'll ever be better than Barth has been in his career. Teams have given up on him for a reason. That reason shouldn't have been for performance as he's a decent kicker. In Denver, it was probably his kickoff leg. He might have an attitude problem, I'm not privy to that information so I just analyse what he's done on the field. If you don't value a touchback leg, Barth is a good guy to have. There are definitely worse in the NFL.

buffaloboyinATL Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 Call it a career for Brown. He is now un-signable.
KD in CA Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 Call it a career for Brown. He is now un-signable. Yup. He and Ray Rice can golf together.
MAJBobby Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 Call it a career for Brown. He is now un-signable. Still on a team and getting paid and has a ton of support from Giants organization, so might want to wait untl he is unemployed (as he should have been, not re-signed) before that claim can be made
26CornerBlitz Posted October 23, 2016 Author Posted October 23, 2016 I was hoping Gould would be around in the event that Carpenter faltered. @AroundTheNFL Robbie Gould signed with Giants knowing there's a chance he could keep job for rest of season, @RapSheet reports http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000725461/article/robbie-gould-aiming-to-keep-giants-kicking-job
