GG Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Mike Alsott? Except this guy didn't make the cut
John from Riverside Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Except this guy didn't make the cut lots of players dont....and still go onto productive NFL careers. Â A lot of times it is about fit.
GG Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 lots of players dont....and still go onto productive NFL careers. Â A lot of times it is about fit. Then it's not an apt comparison to Alstott, is it?
NoSaint Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Then it's not an apt comparison to Alstott, is it? Both lunch pail, high motor kind of guys
26CornerBlitz Posted September 4, 2016 Author Posted September 4, 2016 @buffalobills CLAIMED: FB Dan Vitale CUT: LB Jamari Lattimore P. SQUAD: K Jordan Gay, WR Dezmin Lewis http://bufbills.co/YnFfZI
John from Riverside Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Then it's not an apt comparison to Alstott, is it? Just the same type of attributes in the player.....very versitile like Allsot was....... Â In any event.....he Does not appear to be Felton.....he appears to be a player that can do a lot of different things.

K-9 Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 This is the type of player Eric Turner was alluding to in his Cover1 piece about baby Gronk and how Roman utilized the position in SF. Â GO BILLS!!!
JM57 Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 (edited) This is the type of player Eric Turner was alluding to in his Cover1 piece about baby Gronk and how Roman utilized the position in SF. Â GO BILLS!!! I didn't get a chance to see the Cover1 piece, but it was pretty obvious that Jerome Felton and Bruce Miller were vastly different players. Miller caught a lot (of passes (for a FB) during the Roman years in SF. Edited September 4, 2016 by JM57

GO BILLS!!! Thanks K-9. Appreciate the enlightenment. Had no idea about Vitale. But of course i watched read Erik's piece . So this seems a nice move by the Bills pro scouting. again.
nucci Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Guy had a dissapointing preseason and was beaten out by (also unimpressive) UDFA. How about an OLB/DE or maybe a WR? They can do that.....just haven't signed one yet.....
machine gun kelly Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 His highlights makes him look like an Alstot. Alstot is a big hero here. I used to serve him drinks at Fat Tuesday's in the 90's as he had the hots for another bartender I worked with before he married his wife. He was a Mich Light guy, amd funny this girl and I had registers next to each other so he would park have myself in front of my register for hours. He was actually a very nice guy, and would always bring in a couple of other Bucs. That is one scar for Gruden as he benched a hero for us, and put in Pittman as the main guy. He sucked. Â I only saw a little of him at the Bucs preseason games so can't really comment. Thick guy though with excellent hands.
Nanker Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Sounds like a very good pickup for The Bills. Young, talented, multi-faceted player. Not afraid to block, good hands, TE/FB, moves around a lot. P. S. His QB looked worse than EJ. Â Yes! Gay to PS! And Des too. Good moves.
Kelly the Dog Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Fwiw, and I expect him to play all over the field, Vitale is listed as a TE and will wear 86. Good guy for Roman to mess with.
