3rdand12 Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 I agree. My post was more about the poster saying Miller wasn't starter material. Personally I will take my chances with Miller. I think a solid G/C backup would be nice. I am sure Sitton will get to start someplace. My real concern is back up G and C. we probably all agree on that. I will go so far as to say i can deal with Mills at starting RT. Because at least Tyrod know what he is going to get from him and his tendencies
atlbillsfan1975 Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 My real concern is back up G and C. we probably all agree on that. I will go so far as to say i can deal with Mills at starting RT. Because at least Tyrod know what he is going to get from him and his tendencies If Miller is healthy I think it will go a long way to the right side looking better. I am not sure about Mills, I have to watch him more closely. The thing about the oline position is, he can do the right thing for 60 out of 63 snaps . On those three snaps if he gives up a sack, gets called for holding, and jumps offside people want to label him a bum. What if on 6 other plays he made the block to spring a back for 20+ yds and stoned a stud D end singlehanded that allowed a TD pass? That leaves 50 something other plays he just does his job and gets in the way of a defender.
vincec Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Well, he's going to have to speak up if he wants to play this season.
Blokestradamus Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 According to Schefter, Sitton will visit the Bears first.
Reed83HOF Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 According to Schefter, Sitton will visit the Bears first. and then the Saints....honestly how the hell does NO always create cap space? Unreal (It's great if you are a fan)
YoloinOhio Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 @alexmarvez Not sure if out there but @sn_nfl told that ex- @Packers G Josh Sitton has reached 3-year deal with @ChicagoBears
YoloinOhio Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 @bradbiggs Sounds like it is a rich deal for Josh Sitton too. 3-yr deal for new #Bears LG could approach $7 million per season.
Reed83HOF Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Adam Schefter Verified account @AdamSchefter Josh Sitton signing a 3-year, $21.75 million deal that includes $10M guaranteed with the Chicago Bears, per source.
Virgil Posted September 5, 2016 Author Posted September 5, 2016 That's bs. Why wouldn't he come here on a one year, 3 mil deal? Selfish players man. This is Buffalo you could be living in!

John from Riverside Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 That is some rich coin for a OG that just got waived. People were right int hat he would not come here.....we need solid but affordable depth.
billsfan89 Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Bears could have gotten a very useful pickup, team needs O-line help bad.
Dragonborn10 Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Good player for Chicago. They are a few years away from contending and they can probably get rid of Culter next year. Their roster is so weak that the doollars they are spending on a 30 year old guard won't matter. They don't have enough good players to worry about having the cap space to sign them.
Blokestradamus Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Chicago?? Packer revenge?? Really good friends with Kyle Long, I think.
LabattBlue Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 He will sign on with a contender. Probably Seattle Oops.
K D Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Oops. Not everyone does the smart thing in life. He wanted to play with his buddy on a bad team so good luck to him
Blokestradamus Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Some insight into what led to Sitton leaving. @Schultz_Report Sources inside the Packers locker room tell me the Josh Sitton situation was "combustible at best." A confrontation w/Clinton-Dix got racial
