Solomon Grundy Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Vikings now have two OKLAHOMA boys in their backfield!! Former teammates??
C.Biscuit97 Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 They may have tried (there were inquiries) but Bills front office aren't Nankers! Another idiot QB trade. Not sure if this or Herschel Walker trade was worse. I think we forget as Bills fans but one team that has it worse than ours is the Vikes.
Saxum Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Another great trade!!! Fact if a team is willing to trade a qb, they aren't that good. You never trade a guy you view as a good qb. Packers agree with that sentient and want other teams to trade future Brett Farves. Favre was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the second round, 33rd overall in the 1991 NFL Draft. There are a lot more examples of teams which gave up on good QBs but Bradford is NOT one.
C.Biscuit97 Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Vikings now have two OKLAHOMA boys in their backfield!! Former teammates?? I would rather have AP be the qb and run the wishbone than give up a 1st for Bradford. But at least fragile Sam has a lot of time to learn their offense.
Saxum Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 I think we forget as Bills fans but one team that has it worse than ours is the Vikes. Which is why I want to beat them in Superbowl; Packers would be my team if Trump Bills or Toronto Bills came to be.
YoloinOhio Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Vikings now have two OKLAHOMA boys in their backfield!! Former teammates?? Bradford was former teammates with Demarco Murray and we saw how well that worked out in philly

There were a ton of other factors in the Favre trade. http://www.espn.com/espn/feature/story/_/id/17211520/how-brett-favre-landed-green-bay-packers-made-happen Serious hip injury, Farve loved to drink, wasn't exactly dominating college, and they had a qb they liked. Turned out to be a terrible trade but there were other reasons why he was traded.
YoloinOhio Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 @mikegarafolo Eagles pick up $11m signing bonus tab. Vikings leave $7m tip. Oooh intriguing! /s @adamschefter Week 1 matchup of Vikings-Titans now features a pair of former Heisman winners at QB....
/dev/null Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 (edited) Faux John Madden @FauxJohnMadden BREAKING: Sam Bradford out 6-8 weeks after pulling something while celebrating being traded to the Vikings Edited September 3, 2016 by /dev/null
Hapless Bills Fan Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Wow. Just....wow. I hope there are some conditions in there, like if Bradford tears up his ACL and goes out for the season before he plays 2 games they get their draft pick back

C.Biscuit97 Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 what this says to me is Teddy's knee is f***'ed up and he won't be ready for 2017 either. you don't do a trade like that if it's only for this season I trust Teddy's effed up knee more than Bradford's effed up entire body.
machine gun kelly Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 KJ - Dude your fast. My NFL alert just came through 5 minutes ago. I haven't looked but it was a 2017 1st and was the 4 th in 2017? Nice reclaim for the Iggles. Given what they gave for Wentz, getting those picks back is really helpful for them. I know some people are reading into Teddy's injury in it could be career ending, but I'm in the camp they have a SB team now withAP, and don't want to blow their chance. One of the beat reporters for Philly was saying the other day Bradford looks great once they are out of the playoffs, but like crap when the season is on the line. My take is he is fine when healthy, but is the real Mr. Glass. MN probably think between him and Hill, they have a chance. Hill alone is a wast d year. I hope I'm right on Bridgewater. I would hate to hear his career is over. That sucks for my young man.
Hapless Bills Fan Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Not true...this is the last year or 2 of your best players career...AP. They feel they have a good team and can challenge in the NFC, so they are going all in now. Lakers did the same thing with Kobe trading for Dwight and giving up way too much for Nash. This move was done because they feel they can win now. Yep, This
4merper4mer Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Faux John Madden @FauxJohnMadden BREAKING: Sam Bradford out 6-8 weeks after pulling something while celebrating being traded to the Vikings Don't they usually require physicals to verify trades? Wouldn't this reverse it?
ganesh Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Teddy's leg must be awful. They were talking about him possibly losing it early on. I think that they are past that but it can't be good. The Vikings window is open though so I see why they wouldn't want to waste the year. But Bradford has not done anything in this league to require that kind of Draft Pick. The good thing for Bradford is that he is going to a Norv Turner system which is always QB friiendly. Bridgewater only threw 14 TDs last year....So I guess the Vikings feel they can win with BRadford. Bradford is a mistake-prone QB
PromoTheRobot Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 You mean they didn't trade for EJ? I would have risked Cardale as our #2 if they would have given us their #1 pick. Holy smokes.
Wayne Cubed Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Wow. Well the Eagles had the Vikings over a barrel.

If the Vikings make a run in the playoffs, it will be because of their defense and because they got decent QB play. That's just the way it is. And AP is not much more than JAG at this point.
