It's in My Blood Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 @ mikegarafolo Ian Seau, nephew of Junior and a guy featured on Hard Knocks, informed he'll be waived by the Rams, source says. Would be a good 3-4 OLB/pass rush depth I loved Junior. It'd be a good feel good story to have his nephew on the squad.

John from Riverside Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 And if McCoy gets hurt? Reich we are pretty darn deep at RB
Buffalo Barbarian Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 That German WR got cut from Vikes @spotrac FWIW: Waiver claims from yesterdays NFL roster moves begin processing at 12PM EST: practice squad additions begin at 1PM EST. Sign em!!!!!!!!!!!!! having a guy that big and fast and talented is worth developing.
4merper4mer Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Sign em!!!!!!!!!!!!! having a guy that big and fast and talented is worth developing. Not to the Vikings it isn't.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 (edited) Not to the Vikings it isn't. He is on their practice squad, but we can still pluck him Edited September 5, 2016 by Buffalo Barbarian
billsfan89 Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Wouldn't be surprised at Coples, team is desperate at OLB and Rex drafted him in the 1st round (Rex had to like something about him and he is familiar with Rex Ryan's scheme).
frogger Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Marcus Rush being available surprises me, 6'3" 250+ OLB, had 6 sacks in preseason. At the combine (2015), 4.69 40, 34 inch vert, 24 reps. 6.75 in 3 cone!

I honestly dont think they are "desparate".....if they felt that way they would not have cut Manny Lawson (still trying to figure that one out) I sincerely wonder if they saw enough from Albright that they felt good about going younger at the position. Time is gonna tell on this one.
3rdand12 Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Hope they are still looking at TE and interior depth on Offense. at least at Guard
26CornerBlitz Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 @MikeGarafolo Buccaneers are signing former Texans WR Cecil Shorts. Worked out for them today.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 @RapSheet With the open roster spot, the #Saints are expected to sign (long-time #Saints) G Jahri Evans, source said. A reunion.
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 I loved Junior. It'd be a good feel good story to have his nephew on the squad. Sort of, but then again if football caused CTE and CTE caused his depression and depression caused his suicide... Well you see where this goes camp hero? Maybe he likes to 'just go'
billsfan89 Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 I honestly dont think they are "desparate".....if they felt that way they would not have cut Manny Lawson (still trying to figure that one out) I sincerely wonder if they saw enough from Albright that they felt good about going younger at the position. Time is gonna tell on this one. Lawson didn't seem to fit Rex's scheme or maybe he lost a step. So I think they cut him because of performance as opposed to how much they loved the other players on the depth chart. That being said I obviously am not on the coaching staff so I don't know how much they love the other younger players. But from the outside looking in I could see how they could be looking for an upgrade esp a guy like Coples who Rex drafted high and coached for a few seasons.
Pete Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Not cut, and not really on subject, but Michael Floyd is in his contract year, and would be a great fit for the Bills next season! That is unless he breaks out this season. At the very least, he is great value in FF.
Saxum Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Moritz Boehringer Moritz Böhringer has no reason to sign on our practice squad and is not ready to be a regular 53 member of any squad; he is on practice squad for Vikings and for Bills to sign him to practice squad they would need to sign him to active roster, waive him and then resign to practice squad after waivers. Why would he go thru that when he is where he wants now?
