CountryCletus Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 Thought we food put them all in one place as they start to roll in So far I think Jeremiah Poutasi, David Cobb, Quentin Coples, Dexter McCluster Dexter would make a nice compliment to Archer... Oh wait... lol.... I'd give Coples a shot at vet min. just because....
YoloinOhio Posted September 2, 2016 Author Posted September 2, 2016 (edited) McCluster just looks like a player Whaley/Roman would want Edited September 2, 2016 by YoloinOhio
Blokestradamus Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 McCluster just looks like a player Whaley/Roman would want The "scat back" I wanted Gailey to take over Spiller (not in the 1st though).
NoSaint Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 McCluster just looks like a player Whaley/Roman would want You mean Reggie bush?
Kelly the Dog Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 You mean Reggie bush? McCluster may be a better idea than Bush. I think I might sign Dexter and release Reggie. Dex is probably a better return man and gadget player. If McCoy gets hurt, Gilislee is going to play the every down back most of the time anyway, and then probably JWill.
CardinalScotts Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 last thing we need is another RB,. especially one who isn't a big short yardage guy
Blokestradamus Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 last thing we need is another RB,. especially one who isn't a big short yardage guy Why David Cobb would make sense. Thudding into contact, great leg drive. Solid in pass pro too (something Karlos was very good at). Let Powell take KR/PR duties, adios Reggie.
Beef Jerky Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 (edited) McCluster isn't what he used to be. Coples for vet Edited September 2, 2016 by Beef Jerky
Blokestradamus Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 On the Cobb front, of course he did. @FieldYates Source: former Titans RB David Cobb worked out for the Patriots today. 2015 5th-round pick.
Chuck Wagon Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 The title of the thread should be the "I've heard of him All Stars".
Blokestradamus Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 Ryan Davis is getting released by Jacksonville. Not started a game in the last 2 years, 10 sacks to show for it. 6'2", 275 edge rusher.
....lybob Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 Geoff Schwartz G -can also plays RT -versatility Coples -the guy does have some talent and has played for Rex Ruben Randle - the Bills Red zone threats seem to be down to Clay and Sammy, Randle may be a dog but he had 8 TDs last year
YoloinOhio Posted September 2, 2016 Author Posted September 2, 2016 (edited) @ mikegarafolo Ian Seau, nephew of Junior and a guy featured on Hard Knocks, informed he'll be waived by the Rams, source says. Would be a good 3-4 OLB/pass rush depth Edited September 2, 2016 by YoloinOhio
Best Player Available Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 @ mikegarafolo Ian Seau, nephew of Junior and a guy featured on Hard Knocks, informed he'll be waived by the Rams, source says. Would be a good 3-4 OLB/pass rush depth He sucked on hard knocks. No surprise at all.
Jamie Nails Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 McCluster just looks like a player Whaley/Roman would want Paging Dri Archer. APB on Dri Archer.
NoSaint Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 McCluster may be a better idea than Bush. I think I might sign Dexter and release Reggie. Dex is probably a better return man and gadget player. If McCoy gets hurt, Gilislee is going to play the every down back most of the time anyway, and then probably JWill. IF mccluster is even a better player (I'll stress if) he's still a sold month or so behind in the playbook and chemistry. It would have to be a noticeable jump in skill to justify it and I'm not sure that you could sell me on that argument.
Fadingpain Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 There are always a few good ones who get left out of the mix for various reasons not necessarily involving the player being bad. Sometimes it's a numbers game. I think Whaley and his staff might have a knack for finding one of those guys. Not sure who that would be though.
Bigantall Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 I see two spots available Reggie bush and marquis the glass Goodwin, first Reggie is way past his prime game don't live up to the name, marquis does the same thing every year do just enough to make the team then first hit wham he's done, he's the first guy I know of that has his locker in the training room.
