Kirby Jackson Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 Tasker is on the telecast talking about EJ being in demand with the Bills getting two #1 picks or a #1 and a #2. What is wrong with him?Ha ha ha, if the Bills were offered a 4th they would have that paperwork to the league office before that team got off the phone. Tasker is an idiot.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 How has Jake rudock for the lions looked?
PolishDave Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 How has Jake rudock for the lions looked? Looks like an allstar against this Bills D. Running and chucking effectively. Surprisingly good scrambling skills.
bisonbrigade Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 The Bills need a good backup QB this year, so it's going to take a ridiculous offer like that to pry EJ loose. The Bills should accept nothing less. Describe ridiculous? Would you except a 3rd round pick and a bag of chips????
PolishDave Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 (edited) Describe ridiculous? Would you except a 3rd round pick and a bag of chips???? I would trade him for 2 second round picks. Face it. If Tyrod gets hurt, the Bills are screwed regardless of who the backup QB is. Edited September 2, 2016 by PolishDave
bisonbrigade Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 I would trade him for 2 second round picks. I would except a 3rd round pick and an decent offensive lineman.
OldTimer1960 Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 Well, this has been ugly, but I think that the Bills can't cut either Jonathon Meeks or Duke Williams. I didn't see a lot to get excited about beyond that, but Cardale Jones at least looks calm, if not especially effective.
Freddie's Dead Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 Describe ridiculous? Would you except a 3rd round pick and a bag of chips???? No. I need EJ more than that. I'll take my chances with getting a compensatory pick. I would trade him for 2 second round picks. Face it. If Tyrod gets hurt, the Bills are screwed regardless of who the backup QB is. Two second rounders is ridiculous, and acceptable.
PolishDave Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 I would except a 3rd round pick and an decent offensive lineman. I agree 3rd is not enough alone. But if you got a starter offensive lineman, that was a significant upgrade over what we have now, sure....why not...
Freddie's Dead Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 How has Jake rudock for the lions looked? Like Tom Brady. Bills 3rd string defense truly sucks balls. Nick O'Leary is really making a case for himself. Annen went off injured... Boom Herron has been abused by the Lions all night long. The fact that the Bills OL has been nonexistent notwithstanding...
mikemac2001 Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 Lions broadcast is riding o Leary big time He's been solid tho
Freddie's Dead Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 I would except a 3rd round pick and an decent offensive lineman. Less ridiculous, but acceptable if the OL is a starter.
PolishDave Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 I wonder how much O'leary can drink? Do you suppose he can put the booze away like a good drunken Irishman?
Freddie's Dead Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 The amazing thing is that EJ and CJ somehow escaped major injury behind this OL. In the immortal words of Lou Brown, "Don't give me this OLE bull$hit".
1st Ammendment NoMas Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 OMG !!!! I did it. I watched the whole pathetic thing. Probably because I was in my office and didn't want to work, but still, cat videos on youtube would have crushed this pisser of a game.... There are a lot of holes to fill on this roster. I think O'Leary earned his spot, but another tight end would help. We need to fill out the O-Line and none of the new linebackers stood out. Not that they had a lot of time to learn the D. Overall, it was a sickening lack of desire and pathetic display of tackling. Let's see how this rolls over ten days from now. I'm excited for bills football but do not have high expectations.
bisonbrigade Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 Most of the players tonight I would cut before they hit the Bus. They were just preseason fodder anyhow. I cannot imagine a worse played game.
PolishDave Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 Rex after game press conference = "Who is number 50? He played pretty good." "He's only been here like 6 hours, but he played well."

Did they look well coached?
PromoTheRobot Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 Lol 31-0? Depth is a disaster. Not that we didn't already know that coming in. Once the injuries hit it's going to get ugly... Were we really playing our backups or the guys getting cut? If it's the latter then who cares?
