CommonCents
Trainor cut??? why bring the kid in for one or two days???? Cardales status improved so they must feel confident he can play out the 4th preseason game.

The Poojer
what does that mean? waived-injured TE Chris Gragg (waived-injured) Gragg to IR
Deranged Rhino
Gragg to IR I saw he was waived-injured ... doesn't that mean he has to clear waivers before they can put him on IR? I forget how that works.
ChanOverChin
Trainor is only being brought in to play in the final preseason game so that Rex doesn't have to play his other three QBs very much. He doesn't want to risk an injury. Trainor will be cut right after the game.
r00tabaga
I think it means another team could have claimed him but would have had to put him on PUP list our something.

mannc
Apparently, this means Shaq Lawson can't even start practicing with the team until week seven. So much for him making a meaningful contribution before the second half of the season, right?.
ChanOverChin
The Bills already trade for a LB (McCray). I expect them to make several more moves. They obviously need another dependable TE as well as depth at OC/OG, preferably a guy who can backup both positions. Bills cut: Cuts to 75: LB David Hawthorne, LS Reid Ferguson, C Robert Kugler, WR Greg Little, TE Jimmay Mundine, LB Eric Striker, DT Alameda Ta'amu, QB Austin Trainor, DT Justin Zimmer, CB Jonathan Dowling, TE Chris Gragg, T Justin Renfrow. ...from NFL.com. So much for him making a meaningful contribution before the second half of the season, right?. Pretty much. But he should be able to contribute quickly once he is back. He can still be in meetings and film sessions and on the sidelines during practice so he'll have the mental part down and his conditioning shouldn't be an issue, so he'll just be lacking live game reps. If he's as talented as we all hope, it shouldn't take more than a game to knock that rust off.
HuSeYiN_NYC
That was horrible Just never heard of depth at OC and OG is all. If he meant Center, isn't it C? And if he meant guard, aren't they defined by LG or RG?
