It was a 'stupid decision' to play Tyrod Taylor

Except, at some point during the season your starting LT and your veteran RB may well be hurt so what then?

Game planning, which isn't done during the preseason.

I commend Rex for going against the grain with his decision not to play very many starters in the so-called "dress rehearsal" preseason game, and for getting Taylor out of there when he saw that the OL was not doing a good job of pass protection.

Didn't expect him to get hit?

What?

Come on now, clearly what Rex meant was that he didn't expect for Tyrod to be exposed to a ferocious blindside hit like he was -- not that he wouldn't experience any physical contact.

Some of you just seem to thrive on nitpicking every word out of Rex's mouth...
